Thread: Suggestions needed about stocked-up meds ie buff packs

hello all....
I'm a very casual player... VERYCASUAL...Ihave triedmany professionssince release. Istuckwith Rifleman/Doc so that I could buff myself and friends when needed and not have to wait around in line or hunt down a buffing Doc/ or bot... Not to mention being a wook w/out armor... (glad they changed that) Yes, probably selfish
anyway...
I stocked up on buff packs....so that I would not have to worry about crafting for a whileand well, it seems they are going to be useless, or just disappear one day when CU goes live.
Question...
Should I hold on to these and see what happens as CU evolves? or
Become one of those Buffing Docs and use up what I have?

If you listen to doctors like the Chicken and such, buffing doctors (the much dreaded, hated and loathed "buff-bots") are akin to the money changers in the temple the day Christ went to Jerusalem. Worthy of nothing butscorn and righteous indignation... lol.
However I would say thechoice is entirely up to you. Despite the contempt othersheap upon us, doctors that buff and make a littlemoney aren't the low lifes we're made out to be. Granted buffing can be boring as sin, however it does earn youa few credits and you could burn off your stock that way.
The alternative is to simply hold onto what you have and wait to see what it'll be converted to...

The devs said that most meds would be converted where ever it's possible to do so. It would be my guess that buff packs will be converted to doc enhancers (made post-CU by BE).

I have loads of stock of factory crates of sub-components.

My own opinion, and this is what I'm going to do, is wait until the elite professions go into the CU so we can see what will be useable. I'm also going to wait until we hear from the devs as to which of our packs (not just buffs) will be/not be converted.
We already know that we won't need wound packs, state heal packs, and the stim E will be obsolete. We really need word from the 'powers that be' as to which meds:
1. Will be converted and of the items that won't be converted
2.Will we be reimbursed or have the ability to turn those packs/crates back into the resources and sub components they were made from.
The BE's will use all the same subcomponents we used, so if you can sell/trade those items, that may be a viable option too.
