Thread: Doctors and mind damage
I noticed that in the thread about the dev's response to septembers big issues for doctors they said they were open to suggestions on how the issue reguarding mind damage. I dont regularly read this forum so Im not sure if they have already decided on a solution or if this has already been suggested but it seems like a good idea so Im going to lay it out.
My proposal is that doctors should be allowed to heal the mind damage of incapacitated players which is currently 'unhealable' (I can't believe I just used that word). So when you've just been head shot by that merc for 1000hp because you weren't wearing a helmet, your group's doctor would be able to revive you.
This solution would allow doctors to heal mind damage and not take away from the function of the cantina and entertainers. Some people might not say its much, but I dont think that much more is needed. What do you people think?
I would be ok with that ONLY to revive someone from an incap status.Just enough to get them standingup. However, they wouldstill need to wait out the damage and/or repair the mind wound from an entertainer.Generally speaking, I think that mind healing capabilities need to stay as they are. This prevents someone from a "God like" status. Even if someone is buffed to the max with their HA, the Mind will always be a way in to promote some damage.

Targetable buffs by musician/dancers is a good thing.
Docs should have stims that can heal from mind incap and thats all.
No active healing of mind damage. I'd really not want to see God like doctors with a totally buffed HAM walking around and killing people.
