Thread: High level enhances : annoying problems
Hello fellow doctors !
Enhancement packs are truly a blessing, as they multiply your power, but have many drawbacks :
- Your own Ham bars, once enchanced, will not update properly once losing health or action. At best these bars will be cropped up ( no damage appearing until your stat goes below 1100 ), or worse, will not show any damage till you are incapped.
- Losing your buffs when you log out: is it a bug or a game feature ?
- No reset of the buff timer when the buff has disappeared : You log out then log back in later, you will have lost all your stat enhancements, but won't be able to reapply buffs till the duration of your now poofed buffs has expired.
- A higher level buff will not override a lower one, you have to wait till the timer of the lower buff expires. ( also leads to potential griefing of other players, enhancing them with low A buffs to block higher ones )
Buffing is one of the class defining capabilities of high level docs, and should be made really easier to use.
These problems are worth being listed in the next "top 5 issues" ( they almost made it to the current hot list).
I would also like to thank
I guess I hit the wrong key ....
The end of my post was just a hommage to Zarlor for the work he puts in this forum to debug our profession.
"chapeau bas" from a fellow Doctor from Eclipse, Zarlor, you deserve it.
Aristide Fenouillard, master surgeon, master chemist, Medical professor.

I think Fen meant "fixed" by saying they should be easier to use, that's how I took it. Not easier from a character standpoint, but easier for the player to work with.
Enhance packs have been in the Top 5 since the Corre program started, until this last vote where it just barely got squeaked down into position 6. (It was only dropped there by a mere 11 points.) I agree there are some definite isues here, but most of them I thank can generally be worked around... mostly. Although the buffs dropping on Res thing is really getting on my nerves.
