Meat shifts in and out just like other resources. It's a matter of finding a good"version" on whatever planet while it's in shift and killing critters for it. When it shifts out, that's game over and time to find a new source or wait for another good one to come in somewhere.

I have 800 units of Naboonian Avian meat ( Ograk) oq 903, this was harvested from Peko Peko, Kaadu and Nuna before the resources shifted.

It's on my Vendor at the coords given in my sig at 10 cpu.
