Well that sux. I just looked at the pictures for the player cities buildings. The player hospital looks awesome in the concept design, with the heli-pad on the roof and the overall details. But the actual finished building looks nothing at all like it. I wouldn't want one of those ugly, squat, non-descript 1970's style hospitals!. That's garbage. All the other buildings look like their concepts. Guess the designer was in a hurry to go home on Friday and threw up (right choice of words) something to make his boss happy so he could leave.

Chill, if you feel screwed becuase of how a house looks then you are easy, wth cares.


They are going to be planet specific anyway, thats probably a generic one so brace yourself there will most likely be other type of hospitals you canwhine about.


Freaking because something doesnt have a helipad, pffft reality check.

I don't even know why they're adding player hospitals... Player hospitals == droids. Theres no difference. Oh wait. i get a 110 med rating with my droid instead of 100 at a hospital.. so its better for me to heal with my droid instead of the hospital..

The hospital they they are going with looks exactly like the hospital you can find in some cities on Corellia. I think they decided to take a short cut.


Actually I'd love to have a hospital where you could heal OUTSIDE, so you don't have to stare at those blasted gray walls all day long. The design concept looked like it had such a feature, too bad they chose to go with the 60's looking building.


With the inability to charge for our service, the difficulty it takes to build advanced medicines due to lack of funds, and the fact they want us to get sick of the buildings we have to work in, I think they don't really want medic/doctors in the game. In fact, though combat isn't suppose to be a primary focus of SWG, it seems to be clear to me that that is exactly what they really want the focus to be. Just my thoughts.

Yes best idea ever, I dont know about the rest of you, but personally I have so much more confidence in a doctor who runs his business from the back of a van on the parking lot, excellent idea, it makes sense, very good idea.

Ok now I am confused, are you just pretending to be stupid? Ofcourse they want doctors in the game, you think they decided, we dont wnat this class in the game, lets put it in? If you do, you need a reality check aswell.

What player hospitals really need is a Chem crafting station inside. It doesn't make sense to heal people in the med center then have to run across the street to the hot dog stand to make more meds. Doesn't even have to be in the main ward of the hospital, maybe just a little sideroom/pharmacy.

Get a droid with a crafting module then you can craft all you want no matter where you are, couldnt be easier.

Does anyone know for sure, if any, the benifits of registering at a Player Hospital besides it showing on the map that it is manned?



I remember hearing something about it confering the same benifits as registering at a faction headquarters but I am not positive about that.

Wouldn't love ot be able to put a player hospital anywhere you wanted, even outside a player city? If this is not acceptable, then why not the notion of a field hospital, complete with dispensers that would allow us to sell (or give away) meds.

I haven't tried it, but I hear that you can place a city hall and crate a player city. Then you can pick up the city hall (or however it is you disband a city) and the hospital will remain and work just fine.


Of course, given the cost of city halls, you had better pick a very good location for your hospital...

Yeah would be cool to have faction specific ones too.. OMG wait we do.. Field Hospitals are there.. and oh wait.. they don't do crap like regular hospitals, except look cool...


But at least no one can come and blow up your regular hospital

The trick where you can drop a city hall, drop the player hospital, then pull the city hall back up works. But it is a pain, as many planets are already capped on the number of cities you can have.
