Anyone else lose millions?

First they came for the Jedi and I did not speak out because I was not a Jedi.
Then they came for the Bounty Hunters and I did not speak out because I was not a Bounty Hunter.
Then they came for the crafters and I did not speak out because I was not a crafter.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

what make u think they are useless? - my pre-cu 900+ power buffpacks (for 2600's Buffs) are now buff enhancers.
they now increase my +300 health buff duration by 5 minutes ... wait a moment ... ehm ... perhaps u are right ... they are pretty useless.

i guess most of us lost millions on now worthless buffpacks and formerly high valued ressources, which lost 99% of their value overnite.

but like said before its not only the credits lost - its the crafting thats gone which added a lot to the game (the hunt for the best ressources, the best experimentation results, ...). u have to adapt to the new role of doc as healing-only support class (buffing and curing is not much needed anymore).

The buffs were seriously overpowered. We all knew something was coming. I wish they would've come up with a better solution tho. WIth armor you can "convert" your pre-CU armor into whichever type of post-CU armor you want. They should've done that with the buffpacks. Give the option to convert them into enhancers or stims. Something useful.

I disagree that doctors are a healing-only support class. Take a minute and read through your abilities. You can bump action regen, raise attack speed, and basically make combat characters even better.

It's a whole new profession now. Personally I like the fact that I'm wanted in groups as more than just a res bot/ re-buffer.

All the hard work and crafting/harvesting you did within the content of this game has now been replaced with pressing bactaspray next to a bol lair.

350 sets of 2612 and 2626 3:40 buffs, now just taking up space on a vender, I have brought about 100-125 off the vender and destroyed them, almost broke my heart. Millions lost yes , not to mention the fun Ihad making buffs, always trying to improve with each new batch.

But I switched over to making stims, and picked up ranger, sure much rather liked being TKM/Doc. But it's a living. A whooping level 38 now No SP left

I always bought one set at a time. Sometimes I bought 2 or 3 if I knew I would be buffing publically.

I didn't lose that much.

Oh yeah! Big loss! Tons of resources, nearly whole factory run of stim components, and 3 factories I can no longer use just taking up lot spaces and costing maint.

Oh yeah and all the credits I spent on those harvestors

I guess the only good thing I can do is try to find someone to buy all my stuff.
Since it seems buffs arent such a big deal anymore I'll probablygive up Doc Unless I can figure out how to play it ALL OVER AGAIN!

just before the CU announcement of doc changes, I sold my practice for 150mill credits.

I feared it was coming.. so i dumped the profession.

I actually felt bad because the guy who bought that stuff really ended up with a lot of painful news. However, there was so much resources, it still wasn't a bust for him.

the cash didn't help me though.. I spent it all on armor and weapons to be a great fighter.. with 20 mill left, I thought I was set for ultimate combat.. then the CU came along and my server top powerhammer and my uber armor and mods were basically like starter equipment. I guess I should have watched more carefully.. little bit of kizmet, I suppose..

if it wasn't so painful, I'd be laughing my butt off
