Thread: First Aid. Is it worth it?
Its a 30% improvement over what you have now. Only you can decide if its worth 9 skill points. Just take any heal you do today, and increase it by 30%. Your 400 point heals become 519 point heals.
I am also interested in getting some feedback on this. I am also a bounty hunter reaching for master. I can't imagine going hunting without my stimpack B's. I am left with 33 skill points for Novice Medic and this is my dilemma:
At first, I thought maybe to use the better stimpacks D's or C's for better healing numbers, I bring up my novice medic skills like this:
[First Aid 1 ][ Diagnostics 1 ][ Pharmacology 4 ][ Organic Chemsitry 0 ]
THEN....
Since most C's I've seen are a waste and also C's and D's do come expensive (apart from not being as common as B's on merchant vendors), Now I am thinking, maybe I can make my stimpack B's more effective like this:
[First Aid4 ][ Diagnostics 1 ][ Pharmacology1 ][ Organic Chemsitry 0 ]
I would appreciate any input on this.
I'm a BH dabbling in medicine. I buy and use Stim-Bs from some fine doctors.
Does FA-4 really give much of an advantage over FA-2? Does the extra +35 to Injury Treatment make much of a difference? If so, how much? I'm using Stim-Bs that are 400+.
I guess I really don't understand what +35 really means as a statistic.
note that pharmacology isn't worth it unless you get it to at least 3 .
another thing to consider is that stim C and D are more resource eficiant and can be cheaper in the long run.
Yes I'm a BH with pharm 3 and now use stim C's. for 100k I can get a crate of 50 C's each with around 43 heals and a heal level of 640ish and use of 30 med skill.
Compare that to a crate of top line Stim B''s, exact same price, 400ish heal level, 33 uses each and I know what I'd rather spend my 100k on.
Of course be careful to make sure the stim C's you get when pharm 3 have a med use req of 30 ![]()
