I searched through the last few days of posts on this forum and can't find an answer to my question. I'm a master bio-engineer andwant topurchase schematics from master docs for the sub-components I need for my pet stims. In the last couple of weeks the masters I've contacted couldn't trade the schematic with me. They would drop it in the trade window and when we clicked "Accepted" the okay button would flash for a half a second (well, maybenot half a second but certainly fast enough that we couldn't click ok)and then the trade would cancel. Ironically I could trade any of my schematics with them and then they could trade my schematics back to me just fine. This happened withtwo master doctors, one reported that he has had this problem before, the other said she hadn't traded schematics before and this was the first time she had seen the problem.

The only solution I've been able to use to get around this problem is to pay the doctor some extra cash to come to my factory, give them admin permissions, and then have them load the schematic into the factory where I can then retrieve it.

I've bugged it but certainly don't expect any answer from the devs.

Have any other master doctors been having this problem? Has it been just within the last few weeks?

Wait, you couldn't find this issue listed? Issue #38, Schematic Trading, on the Big List of Doc Issues floated at the top of the forum. Workarounds and all.

What you can also do is have the doctor put it up on the Bazaar. Then you can buy itfrom there. I did this the other day for someone... I guess you would run therisk of having someone buy it out from under you, so do it quick.

My appologies Zarlor, now that you have pointed it out I see it, lol. I guess I should have just started with the stickies at the top rather then doing a search on the forum for "broken schematic trading". Thank you for your prompt responses, you, Elanae and Mosharm.

With that list so long you guys look almost as broke as us and the DEs.

You can try to use a droid with a data module. You can transfer the droid to the doctor, have him put the schematics on the droid and transfer it back to you.

Hehe. Not so broke, no. Just issues and as you noted with this particular one we just list issues that seem to affect Docs, although they may not be Doc-specific issues, if you know what I mean. Plus the list has suggestions for improvements and general ideas and the like. So it's not like a full list of bugs and broken gameplay.

Personally I would say that overall Docs are probably one of the better off of the Advanced/Elite professions.
