You can sell crappy or good quality stims on the bazaar on Endor, Lok, Dant, etc easily. I was selling awful stims I made as a lowbie dr for 800 no problem and sold a nice stim for 2.5k. I'm sure I could have asked for more. If there are none currently on the bazaar people either have to pay the price or pay for a ticket to go back to a normal town and back again to continue hunting.

I've been making half decent meds and selling them on the bazzar . I've been running an experiment to see how high i can raise my prices and people would still buy it in 1 day. I've sold 300-329/34-37(my berries stink and i still got 13k of em what a dilema) for 1k-1.4k and sold them all in 8 hours (went to sleep). I've been selling health/action wound B 145-160/37-43 for 3k each fairly consistantly. those wound Bsare pretty good if you are a novice med on advanced planet.i even had wound treatment 4 doctor buy them .

my new theory is : you can't sell too low on the bazzar! aspecially in the way the faction war is going.I make half decent stuff and sell them for a premium as if they were really good. and i sellmost of them in less than a day.another reason for that is alot of people taking wound treatment 4 med use2-3for buff and revive but never take crafting. on my server there is around a 500:1 or higher novice medic to crafting doctor ratio.

and well now the experiment continues i've sold about 5 300-330/37s stim bs on the bazzar for 2k each . and today i'm going to see if i've sold them acording to my theory i will see at least 5 emails aboutthe sale. mainly because all half decent stim bs usually disapear from the bazzar so compatition is not an issue. I've seen alot of people selling stim bs like mine or better for less. i'm just skimming the top.

you can call me a rip-offday andnight. but i'm just experimenting on the market trends . and if they don't wantthe stimsthey don't have to buy it but the thing is - they need it!!.the fact is stims raises your odds of survival and if you don't survive it may cost you in precious play time (and some players don't have alot of it ) .A combat character may have 1 milion credits in the bank but if they don't have the equipment for combat it wouldn't help them a bit.

so if you sell em jack the prices and see what happens. if you don't lower it bit by bit.

heheh the results are in!
sold everything instead of 5 emails i got 8.

5 300+/35+ for 2k each
3 wound B 150~/39+ 3k each
all in Bestine bazzar.

and i see other doctors sell same qualityfor half price. that's what you call skimming off the top.

well it's probobly because Tempest has lots of faction battles: Rebels attack Bestine, Imperial attacking Anchorhead and this goes on in a never ending loop.

good thing they sold i had 10k credits left.2 days ago i bought the following :food factory , med chem ,med mineral, medwater ,15k+ petrol 4 (other than harvesting about 50k+ myself). funny thing is i spent only 70k for all of that. (talk about deals i can't refuse) . another person also got my out of the bind by tipping me 20k for wound healing.

back to square one and now i can do more misschief

I have a vendor in my house but I also put stuff on the bazarr. I do 90% of my business on the bazzar and every time something sells on the bazzar I make sure that I send a email to the buyer to let them know about my shop. Most are happy but they still buy from the bazzar. I have experimented as well. I started my Stim B's 366/34 at 650 each, they sold in 10 minutes. I then raised them to 850, then 900, and now 1000. They all sell off, I have to stock the bazzar several times a day. I am thinking I should just dump my vendor and sell exclusvely on the bazzar. If they would only remove the price cap.

Remember those are Doc's out there buying your products at that ridiculous rate. No one else has a need forwound meds. As a rule I sell under going rate. On Intrepid galaxy, if wound med b sells for 1000 ill go 800. Number 1 they move faster and 2 they give a little back to the people at novice level.

It's not for some altruistic motive but simple kindness for my own proffession. There should'nt be a competition to squeeze money out of doctors when we all very well know how difficult it is to get to those 9 harvesters on 4 planets.

Ok enough about that. I agree, people will buy almost anything at almost any price. I've seen people at Endor buy 346' stim b's for 1600-2000. Im not out to be robber baron but good components are expensive as is my time. So I sell my 341s for 1000. We have crap Fiberplas on Tantooine now so its tuff to come up much higher than that with Bs

you get heal wound at novice medic and wound b med use is 5 . and anyways my wound Bs are pretty good quality they are base 150-160 and i don't experiment power . i used all advanced and concentrated on charges which are in general more useful. I charge 3k each and here is how i justify it:

those wound packs can be useful for someone on remote planet with novice med and no doctors around. they can go to med center and do it themselve . at around 75 credits per charge it's cheaper than they are expected to tip.

considering all that i'm not charging enough, because medics wound healing effectiveness comes strictly from wound pack power. It doesn't matterif you are novice or master medic you can't heal wound better than the power of your pack.

undercutting is not even nesecerry unless the market is flooded with stim Bs. what i did was an experiment which proves the demand is higher than supply. and i still think the pretty good wound bs i sold worth exactly or more than what i charged for them.

i looked for pricing methods on the web and found a nice one for prestige pricing ( pricing quality):

value = precieved benefit/ price

so if you make quality and people think they are amazing you can afford raising the price. another factor of precived benefit is what would i do without it. you can maybe buy a 150/25 stim for 500 credits and hope it would do.Which brings into consideration buying habbits. if a customer is looking for quality he'll look at the expensive things first and ifhe think the price is good he'll buy it and ifhe think it's too expensive he'll look at other things while remebering your quality. if he find something similar cheaper good for him. if not he'll more likly to come to the items that look desiarable for him. so raising pricing gives the ilussion of expensive = better where it's not always true.

and like you said those harvesters on 4 planets + posibly advanced planet for rare resources + scrouging for meats. all that justify raising prices. but all depends on supply and demand.

I set up shop on Dantooine near the Imp Outpost. When I started, about a month ago, I sold my stim B's (around 380/35) for only 650cr each. Now I am selling my current B's (424/38) for 1600 each and crates for 70k. They are still flying off the vendors. I'm pretty sure I can raise my prices to 2k or even 3k, but I want to my customers happy...besides I'm making a good living as it is =).

I haven't had time, but I will try putting some B's on the bazaar for 2500 and see what happens.
