Hey all...

Last nite I was unable to use my droid to heal any wounds or do any buffs. I admit I haven't been paying as close attention to every little change for the past week or two, but was this by design or was this a bug?

If this is by design, they have basically nerfed me out of the game... we hunt near the imperial outpost on lok almost exclusively and not having access to a droid out there means a 40 minute (round trip) run to the nearest town. It's bad enough I have to step inside a building now to even call the silly thing, but it doesn't work anywhere in that outpost (that I could find, anyway).

Any suggestions? I tried replacing the droid's battery, still nothing. I get the error message that says 'you must be at a hospital or in a camp to do this' ... it USED to say or near a med droid.

Help me doctor forum, you're my only hope!

Anywhere? I mean, can you use it out in the field, not in a city or a camp?

All i know is that inside any buildings i cannot use my medical driod at all, i would have to step outside to use it.

Where as i was able to do before, but once i am outside i am able to use it with no problems

Ooh, you know what, Tigg? you might have just cleared this up for me...

I bet I didn't step outside of the bldg to USE the droid. I don't get this change... I have to step inside to pop the droid (or any of my pets), then step outside to use them? Are they just trying to make me dance the 2-step or what!?

I will try that later--I bet right now that's what the problem was, and I should have thought about that (doh). Cancel red alert until I have a chance to test it further.

Actually, I've been having issues with my droid.

Out in the field ... it seems that it "forgets" it has a med module after combat or after I cross zonelines. Ineed to do a bit more work on it and identify exactly the triggers.

It'll work fine right after the camp is disbanded or in the city, but when I try to re-apply enhancements or heal wounds after we've been fighting or travelling long distances the game reacts as if the droid isn't there.

Aya: You are recharging the droid, right? They do run out of power after about 20 minutes of being out and you'd need to ahve a droid battery with you to charge them in order for your med module to work (or you store and recall them).

As for the building thing, I think it depends on the building. Droids have never worked in Cantinas or Cloning centers. I think most Public buildings (as in, in cities) are off-limits for droid med modules to work in. (BY design, to help keep Med Center and Cantina as sepreate entities in some places, I think.) In houses or other "private" structures they should work fine, though.
