Thread: How do components affect Stims and Woundpacks?

I'm sorry but I could not find the post that explained how they affect the final product quality of stims and woundpacks. I have found that the advanced chems do absolutely nothing for woundpacks as long as using advancedsolid deliveryand advanced BEC. I would like to know if BEC charges and power are both important to the charges/power of stims and woundpacks or just the BEC charges. Anyone have any insight into why the chemical delivery doesn't seem to affect the quality of woundpacks. Also I made some stims using only advanced chems but regular BEC and LS and it did not seem to improve quality of the stim. Does anyone know why this would be? Must all the advanced components be used for stims or are only some components helping?

Well, I'm not entirely sure on this, but it has seemed to me that components determine the 'baseline' power and charges of the finished component.

So, for example, you make a stim b with 'normal' BEC with 3 charges/uses. Let's say the schematic gives you a base of 12 uses. So, your stim starts with 15 (12+3) charges. Then, for every approx 8 percent you increase the experimental charges you get one additional charge, I believe.

Now, let's say you make the same stim b with an ABEC that has 10 charges. Your 'base' level is now about 22, and for every approx 10% increase in experimental charges you get two additional charges. So, you can experiment the stim b to have close to 30 charges instead of 20.

At least this is my understaning of how it works. I might be wrong.

When I make StimB's with normal CRDMS I get a base heal ~300, when I use A-CRDMS, i get a base heal ~350, so yes, there is a noticable difference

Are you fully experimenting both the component and the med?

Check the doctor FAQ - I just added some info about this.
