I will be a 0430 doctor so I can buff myself. I have a master doctor friend that supplies me with enhancement packs. But where is the best place to buff? Do we get better results by buffing in a ....

1) Hospital

2) My house

3) Someone else's house?

4) a small camp

5) a bigger camp

6) with a medical droid

7) it doesn't matter where

8) in a camp with a droid

9) none of the above

it all depends on that places or droids medical rating, larger camps have a larger medical rating than say samller camps. houses and hospitals all have a medical rating of 100. a droid with the highest med chip has a medical rating of 110. hope that answers your question.

i found i get over 2000 enhances with only my droid out, which has 110 chip in it. i dont think iv gotten over 1800 in a house or med center.

I actually get pretty good buffs out of my house. Highest of course, action, for 2474. I got 2479 at the med Center at the Imp outpost on Dantooine. I haven't tried with my Droid cos Missy is a bit old and she only has an 85 medical rating.

Indeed, I've found that I often get better results by having people step outside the medical center so that I could use my droid. I'm not sure, but I believe there was an issue with your medical power not always being based on the top level of power available (for example, if my droid had a medical rating of 110), I might still be using the medical rating of 100 available from the medical center. Stepping outside certainly avoids that ambiguity.

Here is a rumor that I heard about, but not sure if it is true. The medical rating on a droid/med center/camp/etc is a listing of the highest effective skill that can be used there. For example if you have a droid out that has a med mod of 60 but you only have a med use skill level of 40 it doesnt help any more or less then if you were in the med center at 100.

Since a master doctor has a max med use skill of 100, having a droid with 110 in it wouldnt have any difference then a droid with 100 on it or as if you were in a med center.

The problem with this theory is that there isnt any easy way to test it, with the large variation on heals.
