Thread: Docs need the LLC and specials
Well, after seeing some threads about how bounty hunters want to cure poison, disease, bleeding, and wounds, I figured I want the LLC.
Their argument is that they cant get to those skills because they only have 33 points left over, well, I dont have enough points left after master doctor to get to BH and get an LLC, so I guess I should just be given one.
Seriously though, who sees this sort of thing as bieng rediculus? I really dont want to see DOCTOR skills, that you have to have at least 4/0/2/0 in to do, bieng farmed out to other classes. Even a doc doesnt cure poison and disease in 1 cure, and there are people that are not even medics that want the ability?
Its just mind boggling to me that someone could suggest something so outrageous.
I can say though, the moment they give those skills away, i drop everything medical, destroy all my harvesters and meds, and become a BH.

I am Doc/CM and I would love to just have a few boxes in any advanced combat tree. But this is what I picked. I am not a gun toting, free fire sort of guy so I think they should leave the healing/cureing to us.
It does seem odd to me that it takes so many application of first aid for example to stop bleeding. Seems out of wack when it only takes one action to put it on but 10 actions to take it off. I might as well just let it wear off as to try to take it off.
I have always wondered if this is a bug or it was just designed to be so powerless.
I haven't done the cures yet as I just haven't gotten my resources together yet to make the packs.
do you SERIOUSLY think the devs would give BH's any medic abilities? they want balance. they want professions to rely on others for services and goods. The devs arent as stupid as the BH's, believe me

who? me? I have a Doc alt, so I don't really care
I personally have a combat profession to go with my doc skills. TK Sure i can't run up hills fast anymore, but don't let anything get close to me! I will become the spinning blade of death. Sure i sac'd exploration 4 to futher my skills, but it is what you do to acheive your goals. They will not give ablilities away..they have pet stims for that. rest knowing that the BH will cry about only being able to have basic med use...tell them to deal with it and move on. case closed
