Aloha!
I have just created my first two test-enhancement-packs (woho me). The first had 779 power whereafter I tried some other petro chemical and got 785 for the second pack.
Now im using a 13.86 Food & Chemical tool (the red thing), would I see any improvement with a >14.5 tool? (Standing next to a private 41.xx station).
Oh and is it useful to buy a doc apron? Willthe+5 to experimentaion do the trick?

Hmm... my Dolovite Iron is 701OQ and the Domesticated Oats are 713OQ. This gives my ASDS'a apower only 60. This could be it heh.

Crafting tool ratings only affect the experimentation success/fail rates. They will not make the maximum possible value higher. If you want better packs, get better resources.
As for the crafting apron, +5 assembly will also aid with succes/fail rates. In order to get an extra experimentation point, you will need to find an additional +5 med experimentation skill tape to use in a seperate clothing item.
