On NabooKaadu and Peko Peko are good, though Kaadu are much easier to find in quantity. If you see a Peko Peko Albatross leave him alone though, hehe. Nabooian Avian Meat on Flurry is exceptionally goodright nowas well - like ~950 OQ ~850 PE.

On Talus the Rasps are easy to find in large quantity, but not sure how the quality of Talusian Avian Meat is these days on Flurry.

Get a combat profession partner and go to lok for the perleks. They are easy for 2 people and give lots of exp/meat.

BTW Shuey / Murashu ... question for you .. having mastered both Doctor and CM ... and the 4 boxes of the marksman tree for carbine specialist... that would leave you 4 points ... which is clearlyinsufficentto even get Novice Artisan ... therefore I know you don't survey for yourself. So what happens if you lose your interdependance on another supplierof resources?

I ask this question in all sincerity because I'd love to dump Artisan and free over 20 points to spend on the pistoleer tree for my character?

I kind of know the answer already.. I can't do this and expect to continue to fly solo, you'll probably tell me that I have toface the NEED to join a PA and rely on others ... sigh (I'm just not ready after being burned so many times in other on-line games with guilds).

Lok is great if you have moderate weapons skills. Perleks, flits, and pharbles (sp?) all drop avian meat and are of reasonable difficulty. Pharbles are wimps, but aggresively bring-a-friend. Perleks are not BAF. Flits are in between, but also aggresively BAF so they may be the hardest unless you have a pet to tank (and draw all the agros).

I got about 3K in avian meat on Lok in several hours of hunting

Agreed. Lok has serveral types of birds counting as avian (perleks count as avian although i'm not sure why since they look more reptile than bird but i suppose according to some theories it's a fine line). While at time the avian meat might not be of high quality, you can often get large quantities. this question is best asked/cross postedin your Galaxy specific forums as someone there will be able to tell you the relative qualities of the meats there so you can direct your Scout friends.

Same goes for herbivore meats.

Diver,

I absolutely agree with you. I think being both Master Combat Medic and Master Doctor is a complete waste of time. You have no room for points at all anywhere else basically, especially for gaining another skill. Some of them have only gotten the intermediate weapon skill or simply dropped the other ones once they got combat medic(referring to the requirement of having some way of gaining the combat xp to get combat medic).

I'm in that boat now too...I'm a Master Doc who intended from day one to go CM as well but was hangstrung by the combat xp requirement. In the meantime, I've gotten rather used to my surveying skills, but have just started to have to give them up. *sniff*
