today i start making a run of D buff packs. i use a 43.xxxx crafting station and out of 25 attempted packs noe even 1 time did i get 2 great sucess in a row. it was always a good or moderate followed by a great, or a great followed by a failure. i guess this is just really bad luck

Or really bed resources. The 2 primary stats that affect experimentation success form a resource are Overall Quality and Malleability.

Bad luck... or something has changed?

Today I was doing an initial combine on an Enhance D... and got a critical failure on initial combine *3* times in row. That's not an experimental failure.. that's an initial combine! I do dozens of schematics and experiments per week for my medical business and overall I have medical experimentation to have become a lot more unpredictable and inconsistant.

A month ago, I would get non-stop great successes, with the rare good or mediocre success.

Now I get a random array of everything. Good. Mediocre. Great. Amazing. Failure. Critical Failure... roll the dice and take your chances.

The only possibility I can think of is that about a month ago I picked up some OQ986 UT884 MAL308 Tattooine fiberplast.. that has been present in all my ABEC's for the last month.

Could that low MAL in my ABEC be impacting all my medical experimentation so significantly????

It would only affect the ABECs (or anything you specifically use that resource in) directly. Once a component is crafted the system neither knows nor cares what was used to make it or what kind of successes you got on it. It just takes the number and addis onto the base of what you are creating with it. And that was direct from the Devs some time back.

The same thing has happened to me. It started about two days ago. I'm using the same resources as before, but critical failures, and failures have increased quite noticeably. I also had 3 critical failures in a row while trying to make an advanced solid delivery shell. And something else happened that I've never seen before or maybe just didn't pay attention to happened. I was making a stamina enhance D pack. When I used my 8th experimentation point I got a failure. On the 9th I got a great success, and the effectiveness was at 788. I used the 10th one for effectiveness, got a success and the number actually dropped to between730 and 740.

so you have 2 crafting stations close together?
I was having REALLY REALLY REALLY bad luck on enhance D's the other day and i was whining about it in guild chat and a weaponsmith in my guild told me about this old bug where 2 stations close together would mess stuff up..
i moved the weapon crafting station to the next house and continued crafting in the other house and got 4 enhance D's in a row all great successes in expirimentation..

make of it what you will
