Thread: Did the Med Use change on Enhance Pack Ds???
I was a Doctor many weeks ago (possibly longer)... Anyways I had 6 enhance packs sitting in my house for what was probably well over a month's time frame, additionally I had crates with the exact same enhance packs in them. (thats where the individual enhance packs came from originally)
They were varied meduse between 70-80. Basically 0230 Doctor could use them.
If you examine the Crates OR the enhance packs they say like "74" usage or "76" usage.. depending on which ones they are.
The inital few sets of buffs I did were very nice. I then needed to pull some more enhance packs from the crates....
At that point I discovered when I examined the Crates they still were Med Use 70-80 range, but the enhance packs that came out of the crates were Med Use 90-100....
**edit** happened?
The Med Use on the Enhace Packs don't match the Med Use on the Crate.... Did some stealth-nerfage occur on meduse requirements of Enhance Pack Ds in the last month?
From the way it appears to be working, you now have to be a Master Doctor to use Enhance Pack Ds, instead of just 0230 Doctor...
Thanks

You pretty much guessed it.

Last time I looked it was 92 base without experimenting on EoU. Yeah the uped just a little....you can probably still experiment down to the low 80's but get low power from them.
there are lots of threads that anser this, if you want the long answer, look at the stickied threads at the top.
short answer - med use was not "changed" per say, but the calculation that generates the med use value was fixed so that experimentation worked properly. Med use was always supposed to be in the 90's, but because the calculation was reveresed, they ended up being lower.
KindredUK- You hit it right on the head of the nail....
Looks like I'll be getting Master Doctor again.
Thanks!

This happened when they fixed the experimentation on ease of use. It used to be when you experimented this it went up instead of down. Well they fixed this but it caused the med use to go way up. It is not supposed to be that high. The Devs even admit that, but they can't fix it. They have given us two options. Either be able to experiment them down, or have them in the 70 range. They don't know how to make it both. Even though they know both is the way it's supposed to be.
Doing computer programing once upon a time. I don't understand why they couldn't do both, but hey what do I know.

You may have misread the response. They didn't say that the Med Use rating is not supposed to be that high on new Enhances. They said that they didn't intend for it to effect the OLD enhances. All new enhances, however, can be assumed to have the intended Med Use rating on them.
Both isn't the way it's supposed to be. The 90s really is where these should have been coming in at. The problem in question there had strictly to do with old crates and the inability to fix those old crates so they still gave out Med Use 70 packs just like the crate says they are. That is what they could not fix.The current Med Use levels would be a seperate issue from that and they have stated they will review those levels to ensure they are coming in properly. My suggestion would be that while some of them are coming in about right, that many should probably be rasied or lowered (depnding on the pack) to give a more realistic and staggered climbing of packs with Med Use levels.
