OK. I was just reading over on the Fencer forum about the changes to HAM costs on specials and how they reduce maximum HAM bar, and is UNHEALABLE damage (although it regenerates rather quickly).

This causes some questions to come to mind:

1) Does this include dancers/musicians performing in a cantina as well? What does this mean for people trying to get medical experience? Pets tank damage, healing them nets nothing. Ranged combat often only takes damage from their own specials. Maybe I'm not seeing the big picture here...

2) This makes paying attention to your own HAM bar even more important than before. Are enhancements still broken on the enhanced players personal screen where HAM bars will not scale to appropriately show the entire bar?

I reccomend you use Dev Tracker. That is rather an old post (things move fast with changes on Test Center.) TH posted a set of posts about the upcoming Combat Changes, which include all of the stuff about the HAM bars.

Yeah, that isn't thenewest public info.

First off, the changes are not going live soon anyway.. .they were in for a quick run-through.. They wil lreappear later.

Pets are getting rebalanced, and PC's will be tanking a lot more after this patch, especially with te new damage mitigation vs. higher CL creatures/NPCs.

Eventually the new system will include entertainers... so yeah, healers will have to heal actual hurt people again for XP.

HAM bars are still bugged sometimes for some people when buffed.

I find Dev Tracker to be very confusing. Particularly with the cute titles TH tends to use for new threads. Also its very busy over there.

Thank you for the replies.
