theres noobie birds on naboo that drop avian.

On Naboo there's Peko Peko and Kaadu, as well as others, but these are my two favorites to hunt...acutally I think Gnorts might give you Avian as well.

Any bird on Lok drops great Avian meat........but with the coming probot nerf...your best bet is to hunt pharples.

Hi all. Most of the flying stuff I kill gives up insect meat. I was hoping some of you might know some relatively easy critters I could kill for some avian meat. Thanks!!

Carrion Spats on Correllia, and from what I hear Mynocks on Tat also drop it. As far as I know nothing on Dantooine drops the stuff at all. Also I am curious to know if fynocks on talus may drop it. But I have not had a chance to look, Correllian butterflies do not drop in I know. I have yet to find any critter that drops large amounts of it.

Whispering birds and 1 other critter that looks like a small dog (Agghhh can't remember name but you can get missions for them.) on Yavin drop it also.

Not sure on Dathomir or Endor don't spend much time ther unless missions are paying well.

Mynocks drop herb meat.

I use http://www.swgcraft.com to determine what good meat is dropping atm and http://swg.allakhazam.comto determine what drops it.

Tat mynocks drop avian meat, or at least they did in month 1, the last time I hunted for avian meat on tat. Mynocks/vynocks on all other planets drop herb meat.

For reasonably quick volume, Lok is always good. Pharples are very simple. Perleks and Flits are medium difficulty (though with fair combat skills and a rock beetle, a medic won't have any problem). You can get missions for flits and perleks (and their lairs are quite common outside of missions).

Just watch your radar closely for those NPCsthat will pop you hard from 64m.

I get most of mine off the bazaar as well (small piles add up), though when you want volumes of good meat, you either have to contract out a ranger to get some for you (expensive) or go do it yourself (time-consuming).
