Hi i just got novice doc and had exp left for 1 box so i took x1xx just so u know.
I want to know what really is the best way to get healing exp (and dont say tumbler cuz thats not true).

the old fashioned way is hanging in the med center and healing the wounded, back from their adventures or hooking up with a group that needs a Doc to heal them while they battle 
Its how I did my Doc profession, note it takes a while like this, took me a month of casual play.

I think the best way, is to join a group and healing the groupmebmers during combat.
Another good way to get healing xp is to buy a medical droid and heal the wounded in the starport. There are many wounded people on transit.
You can heal entertainer as well, but i think the doc needs to much xp, as this would be rewarding enough.

get your self to 0-0-4-0 i did it by first getting doc clothes and a droid for wounds,and healing the entertainers in the cantina.
once you are this far then you can use 90 med use buff packs then find a vendor with decent 90 med use buff packs and buff ppl at the starport charge a little less or do it for free your choice.
this way you will get the xp you need and can make some money at the same time
i tried to design my 90 med use buffs this way all six stats hit 2.2-2.3 with bivoli with packs like those you will get 6-8k xp per set you apply too people

He has to get to 0.2.4.0 to buff as you suggested. The ability to buff is given at 0.2.0.0.

the best way to gert healing xp is get a friend who is a brawler. go to a lair and fight it till almost gone then have the brawler warcry it and you heal the brawler wile they do this. you get better xp for doing it than hanging around tumblers or others.

I found that it's pretty easy to hang out in 1 of 2 places either the Mos Eisley med center. Mos Eisley is where all n00bs start at now. They have no idea about buffs or anything like that, so you're bound to see some serious black bars in there.(Not to mention that n00bs treat you like a god when you put up a "helper" tag)
I also found out last night that wherever there's PvP , there's healing to be done, especially if there's a CM in the area. I got about 4k xp from just one person who had his Health and Action bars totally in the black.
