Ok, I know this has been posted before, I assume. But everytime I go into the Theed med center, there is a super tumbler there with sometimes 3 ppl healing him, and there will be a line of ppl with wounds and diseases ect getting ignored!
I found one person waiting over 30 min for his VERY serious wounds, he was down to 1 HAM! And everybody was spamming the tumbler while he was screaming for healing.
I healed him in no time and gave him a free buff also. He said they told him to goto cantina and they would heal him. He went and waited over 30 min and they ignored him.
I know some of us are dedicated to helping players, and I don't think tumbling is bad as long as you don't ignore ppl in need, but those of you just doing it to buff and not heal, you are a disgrace. I chased some of those out of the med center for doing that, I buffed the tumbler so he couldn't tumble, they had that coming. They didn't deserve the XP. Never did that before, but if I see ppl getting ignored, I will break it up.

This disgusts me as well. People go to the med centers to get healed, and if there's grinders healing tumblers, that's fine by me. But your FIRST priority is to heal those in need. If you can handle something as simple as that then maybe this is the wrong profession for you. And if someone comes in diseased or something and you can't cure that yet just say so instead of ignoring the patient. I'm aware that medics get crap heals when it comes to wounds but no matter how long it takes you should still heal.
Right, there's my rant for the day. If you grind, that's fine but remember I keep extra quickness packs on me which most of the time I use for entertainers... most of the time >=)

Well more than a few of the "Master" Docs got here by using AFK macros in conjunction with Tumblers.
So yes, they will flame to ease theirconsciences as they feel they did no wrong.
Of course the Devs put in this tumble state so NO, Tumblers are not doing anything wrong.
However, neither are you. People go to a Hospital to get healed. What is the name of the skill to buff? HEAL Enhanse.

Im a returning player, and to be honest with you, I used a tumbler for the majority of my medical xp. My role as I see it, as a doctor, is to help my current PA, not to bend over and take it up the ass by every jerk that walks through the med center.
Already, even though I got the majority of xp from a tumbler, Ive healed over 1000 wounds on one guy, and not even been able to get a thanks, or a hi out of him.
With my old doc, I got so bitter that I tried charging, and got laughed at.
I dont really care to help the masses, because the masses are in general ungratefull little **edit**s. I would rather PAY a tumbler, than enslave myself to paying for healing other people.
Some may say that docs should be there to help others, without expecting compensation. Thats ok with me. When my resources, weapons, armor, and food come free, Ill start buffing and healing for free. Until then, I refuse to spend my playtime making money for other people, which is what you are doing healing as a doc.

I tool think it is sad to see medics and doctors healing tumblers in the med centers. If they want to use that exploit, go ahead--just not on the main floor ofthe med centers! There are three floors--use the elevator. I admit I tumbled for CMs before, but we went out of the way so as not to be disturbed.
I would think that the communities would have figured out a system by now for where to go for what service. For example: if you want wounds healed or are willing to heal wounds of others, go to the ground floor. If you want to tumble for tips or are looking for a tumble contract, go to the third floor.
I have found that almost all patients in the med centers have been nice and usually thank, if not tip, me for my services. I went up through doc from tips from healing wounds (and some dancing). Perhpas Valcyn server is nicer in general (it does have a lower population), but I do not see the "mean" customers. I see it a tarnish against the doctor and medic professions that patients are ignored for a tumbler. It is just my personality to want to help others (which is why I like being a doc and even buffing the public), so it is unfortunate that some docs portray the profession as something different.

It is perfectly possible to heal a tumbler AND a patient in dire wound needs at the same time, since those are on differnt timers. When I was bringing up my 2nd doc, I healed tumblers but also had a wary eye out for patients coming in with wounds. The only people who got ignored were those who sat down in the other end of the med center, way out of healing reach, shouting "Heal" or "Medic".
Buffing the tumblers secondary stats are still a way of griefing, since you are trying to force your gameplay ideas upon other players. As of recent Dev/CSR statements, tumbling is perfectly legal, as is afk sampling or afk dancing for that matter.

What right do you have telling someone else what their first priority should be?

I don't see anything wrong with tumbling, I used it too, BUT I healed those who walked in, and I made sure they got attention.
These people weren't AFK and spamming the tumbler. One was a Novice Doctor, they told him to wait because they already paid the tumbler. The tumbler had an action buff and was using pet. I buffed his stamina and constitution (because I got them swapped, whoops) so he couldn't tumble and loose action anymore. Hehe, I don't regret it.
They reacted by demanding I pay for their tumbling and that he should refund their tip, ect. Then, "I'm reporting you!" I am not worried, I thought it was funny, I don't see SOE punishing me for HELPING PEOPLE. I gave them nothing and put them on ignore.
I am a generous doctor. I use alot of resources for free healing ppl and giving new players discount or free buffs, my heals and cures are always free. I rez people all the time in battle. I may have used tumblers and grinded away in 2 days from novice medic to Master Doctor, but I repay the online players.
BTW, this is my second character on Ahazi. My main character is Ethor. I need to create a 2nd name for forums to represent my second account.
