Hi guys, just mastered doc today, I am currently a TKM and I was wondering if going to Rifleman was a good idea? I have heard both good and bad for this. Most of the bad is that the rifleman gets no defense. I wanted to ask you rifleman docs out there how you do pvpin and pve? Thanks ahead of time, and please dont post if it is some sort of flame

Rifleman gets loads of melee and ranged defense (and block!) compared with other ranged profs

I am a Master Doc and a Master Rifleman, truth be told I would be murdered in PVP by someone with some experience and a close combat profession.

However I have no interest in PVP AND PVP does not bring in the money unlike Janta's Mokks, Rancors or whatever else.

I personally like the combination the only thing I find is occasionally I am knocked ndown but a quick hit of F1 key and I'm stood up again like nothing happyened, I can slaughter PVE's in a matter of moments and without sustaining much damage to my health or armor even when there all on me

If you want cash and dont want to wait in lines lol, this is a combo I would try out

Sure its really nice, but personallyIwouldn't get it, since I don't like how I have the only 2 professions that HEAVILY rely on one pool, the one exact pool that you can't heal.

swordsman doc is better

and the rituals that fade away, and the roses that cease to be laid, and it's clear to me that we're one foot in a very shallow grave

I have to back up the previous poster..... Swordsman / Doctor rocks.

I spent the evening running around Dath tonight killing any NS I saw except for the Elders.... Once I tune my fighting on the other ones I will take on of those elders down ... I swear it.

The best thing about Swordsman is you have a Scythe and a Power Hammer for a couple damage types.... If you are Rebel you can single-handedly take out AT-STs. I found out tonight that with Swordsman/ Doctor you can also take on and defeat two Nightsister Spell-Weavers and 1 Sentinel at the same time.... LOVE IT.

I am rifle doc and I love it. It depends on your playstyle...If you like to hunt krayt and nightsisters...sword is best with doc. If you pvp with guildies and don't take on the world alone, rifle/doc rocks. In pvp, I mainly stand back and heal and break out rifle when someone needs cover fire or someone is engaged in a close fight. Its loads of fun and really useful to my guildies.

Rifleman/Doc is IMO and to use an expression i really despise t3h ub3r in PvP. I was grouped with one who managed to hold of(as in not die) while fighting 8 people at the same time. Simply because : He could heal all states and all poisons put on him, he targeted and took out the mind off the attackers, to repeat : NO DOT could touch him, so standing in 90/40 PvP comp, buffed to the hilt, he could not be touched.
