No! Good God no!
We're talking about the ability just to be able to take an item from a crate and drop it into inventory. That has nothing do to do with factories at all!
THis is not about getting factories to stop accepting crates or not taking crates in crafting.
WHat it is about is that right now if I have a crate in my inventory and I double-click on it it pulls up a screen to allow me to split the crate as the default action. If I have a crate of 50 stims, that just means if I cdoulb-click I can split off a crate of some other amount of stims. The suggestion is to make double-clicking a crate go back to selecting the Get Item from Crate option that you would see o the radial menu. THe split crate option is still there on teh radial menu, just no the default doubl-click action is all. THat has absolutely nothing to do with factories takiung stuff from crates, only with us getting a crate to dump stuff into our inventory.
My biggest need in terms of droid batteries is that I have absolutely no idea when my droid is running low on power until I start getting critical failures in experimentation or pull my droid in the field and can't heal someone. I don't understand why we can't just get a droid power meter or some notification that a droid is running low on power -- and then a notification of how long its power will last once a new battery is inserted.
I don't mind carrying the batteries in inventory -- but it's incredibly frustrating to not know if I'm using up a battery unnecessarily or when the battery will wear out.
