Copied from the Test Center patch notes:
---------------
Loot components from unrelated creatures no longer stack. Only same-creature loot components will stack.
---------------
(I hadnt found the patch notes release prior to today to read because there is just honestly to much stuff to try to read while I am working, sleeping or gaming)
Well, this is just going to screw a lot of members of the medical profession. Not only do we already have to carry all the items that have been listed in other threads here during requests for doctor specific packs, but now components not stacking is going to screw us up even more. Also, it is going to be 10x as hard to make meds when you have to hunt very specific creatures to get a large enough stack of meds to actually craft an item.
Also, this is my greatest concern. I logged out to come to work in the middle of moving my residence and all my items from one planet to another. I wont be back online in time to beat the patch to empty my inventory to make room for items to split. My top level inventory is full. My travel pack is full. My safety deposit box is almost full. My questions are: will the items that I already have looted from multiple creatures auto-split? (ex. avian meat from multiple Lokian creatures) am I going to lose all those components that I have spent thousands of credits buying? or all those components that I had to travel around the galaxy to hunt? (like herbivore meat from various creatures on Dantooine)
If tems do split (no conclusive data to say whether they will or not), will the excess default to my residence?
Please answer this before the patch goes in.

I think this means you can't put two different loot components into a schematic and stack them anymore. Not that components of items won't stack. That'd be death for all crafters if you couldn't crate components.
I'd stop all my factories and burn them to the ground at that point.

Loot components such as janta blood, NOT harvested resources such as meat.

Exactly. The semantics are improtant here. Resrouces (like Avian Meat) are a completely different beast from Components (like your BECs) and that is different from Loot Components, like Janta Blood.
This patch note affects only those looted components and even then he is not talking about sticking in inventory, but stacking within schematics.
