IMHO you have acted perfectly right... You offered to help but it was not wanted...

In PVP youre a target as soon as you take sides... and the PVP guys 'n gals know this...

If your help is not wanted, don't force it upon people.

It' s a bit strange he cloned, but then again, his decision.Dont worry about it.

I feel the same way. Always prepared and ready for anyrhing. Don't feel like you failed! If he did not reply back then he just did not want the help. You did your part.

I was surfing the Doctor boards, and I was checking this out. One thing comes to mind...though I don't know if this has been changed, last time I tried you HAD to have /consent from a Jedi to res REGARDLESS of whether or not you are grouped with them. If this is still the case, Bayland, nothing you could have done.

Last night I was at the Geolabs hanging with the Jedi who camp the entrance. I don't really need any additional XP, but they offered me unlimited looting so I figured what the heck. About an hour into the stay one of the Jedi Forceruns out of the cave pursued by a single Master Bounty Hunter.

I followed to see if I'd be needed. I asked the Jedi if he needed help and got no reply. I jogged out to where the two were fighting. It was a very fair fight. No hidden helpers. One on One. The Hunter was prepared and had a Mind Fire pistol. The match lasted about tem minutes. The Hunter was clearly going to take the match. I asked the again if the Jedi wanted help. No reply.

The Jedi was killed by the Hunter. I offered to Rez. No reply. I ask the other jedi in the group. They suggest I wait until the Hunter has left the area. I wait. The Jedi clones. I'm left with the feeling that I failed as a Doctor.

Now, I take my Doctoring seriously. I always carry a full set of stims, state heals, blankets, buff packs, and wound packs. Plus, supporting food and such. In short I'm prepared. I am not a PvP template. Doc / Swords no additional speed.

My questions to you all are:

1. Would you have immediately taken on the MBH?
2. Would you have immediately rezzed the Jedi? (I was in the group)
3. Would you have let "nature" take is course?
4. What would you have done?

Well.. for one.. had you rezzed the jedi you would have been killed, as you would gotten a tef soon after..

I think in my case.. a lot of it would depend on faction.. Had the jedi been aligned with my faction, I would have probably jumped in..

In your case.. since the fight lasted a long time, there was plenty of time for the jedi to ask for help.. so I don't think you were wrong or 'failed'..

I would have cheered the BH on myself and did everything I could to ensure the BHers victory over the Jedi (whether or not the Jedi was light or dark). After asking the BHer if he/she wanted my help of course.
