Is anyone else have a problem dragging players?

I continually get 'it is unwise' message. Happens every time I try to drag.

Sounds to me like a message you would get if you were trying to drag someoneof the opposite faction. About the only thing I can think of.

I had the same problem while I was a neutral, but it seemed to go away once I had joined a faction. I expect the only people I can't drag now are overt members of the enemy faction.

That is correct. No dragging, healing, buffing. Rezzing probably too.

No, this is a new, but intermittent bug.

I know my factions, I know about TEF's, I have been doing the drag thing for a while and I rely on it a lot (how else do you keep a 30-man raiding party on their feet?)

Since last patch, for reasons I cannot see, sometimes when attempting to drag someone who should be a completely valid target for drag, I get the "It would be unwise...".

The problem is that its intermittent, I can't pick the pattern to it's occurrence just yet...

Hmmm. I haven't yet seen the problem, but I guess I'll keep my eyes open for it.

Yeah, if anyone can track down the situations or a pattern to this, definitely let us know.

Thank you for the replies. I will make some notes and see if I can help track this down.

I have been getting this 'bug' for several days now. I know it is not due to any factional status. The members of our PA are all neutral, yet I still get it. Even happened to a newb Medic.

Not localized to a specific planet. Happens on Tat, Endor, Dant, and Lok. Unsureof the remaining planets.

Not a game stopping bug by any means, but IMHO a very frustrating one!

It might be something to do with the non-imp, non-rebel "TEF" you get for killing a mob from an NPC faction or buffing/healing someone who has done so, etc.

That's true. You can get a TEF for healing or trading with a TEFed person. ALthough I thought that was supposed to be fixed to not allow neutrals to do those actions so they would not get TEFs. Possibly not, though. There are also forms of a combat TEF that folks get whent hey duel that prevents healers from just healing someon whi is in, or was just in, a duel regardless of if they are factioned or not.

This problem still persists. The other night I was with my PA doing a Krayt Dragon hunt, and discovered that despite no one being declared, I would often get the "It would be unwise to help such a patient." message when trying to drag group members.

I am Neutral.

This is quickly becomming my number one frustration when I am supporting a group.
