It goes live tommorow - they jumped the gun on the update notes.
*hopes it does not go live tomorrow*
They broke /firstaid and slapped a fix on it. I would much prefer they wait another day before this goes live....especially considering the NPC actually bleed you again. ![]()

I believe Vass has said the update will go to live on Thursday. This will give them another day to iron out bugs and make sure that /fristaid fix hasn't caused other problems.

The Buffs are extremely efficient, but you could look at it in different ways..
First of all, the best Poison's and Diseases will require a buff that has a very large "Absorption" rate, which is the rate at which it can absorb a high potency poison...it has nothing to do with the strength of the poison. Issues arrise when the CM's make the poisons, because potency becomes a large issue in their experiment phase of crafting.
With the delay (which didn't seem to change much) and the chance to miss, you could basically have someone with high absorption buffs that would never get hit...because even if they did, the buffs would absorb the poison/disease. There will be occasions where very high potency is used, but some of the best CM's will have this, and I assume it will be very expensive, because it will take some very nice venom. Standard crafted poisons and diseases will become useless against a nicely "buffed" opponent.
Upon testing on test center, a high absorption C pack made with ok materials against a master CM with a 119 potency at an ideal throwing range for CM finally hit me after 16 throws. By "HIT" I mean it finally landed the poison. The rest of the time it either missed or I absorbed it.
Of coarse, this is test center, so we will have to wait and see tomorrow. I'm planning to give it a good test and if you all like I can post the results, but I"m sure by then, most of you would have been in combat and can see for yourself. PE on the materials used in the Doctor's Poison/Disease buffs are going to be a major factor.....
