I won't admit to knowing everthing about doc buffs, so I'm trying to make sure I have one thing understood. If I get a mediocre buff, and then want to get a master doc buff, will I have to clone first? Or can the doc just buff me with no problem? I have thought that higher buffs will just be added on, but maybe I'm wrong.

The more advanced buff will be the one that you feel the effects of. Say, for example, you are in a med center and a novice doc buffs your action for 200 without asking trying to make xp. You can later go to a Master doc and get a 2601 buff, and his will take effect. Otherwise you could grief people by buffing them.. heh. (oxymoron?)
