Thread: Poll: Would you use a Palm (PDA) based tool for calculating resources / crafting results?

I've started a spreadsheet on my PDA to helpjudge resources being sold on the bazaar.
I put in the OQ and PE, or OQ and UT, or whatever qualities matter for the resource, and it calculates the strength. For example, for ABEC's,it givesOQ*(2/3) + PE*(1/3).
Does anyone else think they would use that on their own PDA, or do you have another system, like tabbing out to a webpage or excel spreadsheet, or keeping a laptop open next to you?

I'm always looking for some good tools for any game i have played ... there is not much atm "out there".
If u will make some i will be glad to have it

I already do use my palm for that.
Its based on JFile 5, a database which supports calculated fields.
Pretty neat search ond sort options, a *lot* of typing data into it, though.

I would, but i hate writing on my pda. I think i will buy a keyboard.

If you have the hotsync and the proper software, i BELIEVE you can drag/drop and it will convert from XLS to XPW (i think, don't recall the extension). It at least works for my brother's HP Pocket PC.

I think THIS might help, I created this some time ago, almost done with the web version, meantime here is the EXCEL version:

Ok I forgot to atached link with my excel file
It was made for PDA!! I mean format
It is simple and easy to use due fact the excel in PPC is stript from any advance function
If somone will change this in to http format with execution like excel - so we could operate this from PPC IE i will be glad to see this
If u have any sugestion how to improve it (u have to know limitation of PPC excel) send me your idea or do it your self and share with us, I would like to see
