Thread: Buffs as a non-master doc?

I'm at 4-4-4-2, but gonna go hunting with some friends tonight. If I buy really good quality buffs will I be able to buff me and my friends ok or should I let a master doc do it and wait till I hit master?

depends on the med use, if u can find some with a low enough med use you will be able to buff

Yes, you can buff pretty well. 90 med use buffs should be quite easy to find.

Will I be able to do 2200+ buffs? We are going krayt hunting, so I'd just assume go to a master if they are gonna be much lower than that. Thanks for the all the info.

With 889 effectiveness packs +25 bivoli, +25 wound treatment clothes and a 110 rated droid, you'll hit 2200.

If you wait a little while before going out to fight you don't have to worry about the food in your stomach. Especially if the bivoli isn't very high of a stomach filling (Which it's not anyways).

Don't forget to buff in a city that's a medical center too. That might add a bit.
I wonder about taking Bivoli as a combat prof/doc dabbler. Don't you need your gut for other foods?

I'm at 4-4-4-2 as well and use a 939/89 buff set for 2556 buffs. But for this you will need 1) A Medical Centre City, 2) Bivoli, 3) a 110 Med Droid and 4) WT+25 clothing. This is equal to a Master Doc, who you see in Starports or Grinding Planets.

Yikes! Im buffing 2200 at 4440 at starports with 889/90 buff packs. I need to look around for more power.

Buffing in a medical center city gives +10% or the same as using around +22/23 bivoli
and if you and the guild members have looted loads of janta blood then ask a friendly doc to craft a set of action/health packs just to be used for special hunts

TrickyDD, I see you are on Ahazi, good quality buffs with med use of 90 are not hard to find. One possible place to shop and buff is Healers Haven on Corellia. Several shops that sell quality buffs and it's a medical specialty city.
