Brannoc - *Colbius* According to the polls on the SWG forums there seems to be a dislike for the new system are you getting similiar results from the feedback?

Rogue_5 - We are not seeing that level of aversion to the communicated changes. What has actually been pleasantly surprising is that the in-game exit polls and the forum polls have continued to move to the positive every day. It appears that most of what was driving the negativity at first was just that it was a 'change' to the current game-play systems that we all know so well. Once people continued to play through it and joined with friends

No it is not a joke, they are just delusional. They got so tired of negative feedback they just started imagining positive feedback.

It isn't funny at all. It is just plain scarey. I don't know what planet these guys are on, but it isn't TCEP3. They must have their own Galaxy in an alternate Universe with a different set of feedback and a novel way to interpret polling data.

They can't truly believe any of this. All of these chats and such are just advertising and propaganda.

The issue here is that you are looking at the responces here that anyone accessing the forums can vote on in the In Testing - Dev forums. What you can't see the results to is the exiting 5 question survey that is asked everytime that you log out of the test server.

I would wager that most of the votes here are from people that have never even tried the CU that are just posting their resistance to change.

There's no reason to believe that what they say is not true.

Or we've tested the CU, tried it, and still don't like it...

There is plenty of reason to think it's not true. I realize you're all for the CU however there are other opinions that differ fromyours sometimes.

Instead of trying to categorize the negative responses people have, (i.e. you've not tried it, you're just resistant to change), why not allow for the fact that the CU isn't as great as you happen to think it is to everyone?

the more i test the CD the more i hate it, and i was very excited aboout it prior to TC. I do not fear change, i just hate the system. And the more lies and denial i encounter from these guys the more virulent i become in my hatred.

This is true... based on question #2 (taken from the exit poll you identify), an "agreeable" answer *could* be interpreted as: "Our surveys showthat testers like the changes we've made to their profession in the CU"

Exit poll questions:

#1: Please indicate how much you agree or disagree with the following statement. Ranged combat and melee combat are evenly effective.

#2: Please indicate how much you agree or disagree with the following statement. My character has a unique role in group combat.

#3: On a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 is extremely easy and 1 is extremely hard, how easy is it to figure out how the /con shield works?

#4: On a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 is extremely easy and 1 is extremely hard, how easy is it to tell if you are in combat from the game interface?

#5: Please indicate how much you agree or disagree with the following statement. The combat upgrade has made Star Wars Galaxies more enjoyable for me.

#6: Which particular new toolbar icons do you have feedback about? Include the name of the ability associated with the icon.
