I sat through most of it till I got feed up and left, nothing about any Doctor concerns.


For crafters in general, were told to get a PSG or take a group to gather resources, so if your going to take up the BE crafting to continue to make meds at least Doctor is going to be certed for armor and some weapons are going to be based on you combat level not just your profession so we will get some help there.


One thing that upsets me it that no Dev has come to our forum to address any of your concerns, unlike several other profession forums where the Dev's have at least answered some of their question. Our profession is going through a major change and no feed back from a Dev.

I personally cant wait to get a group of 8 guys together to fish on endor, sounds like a blast!

I have had trouble in the past getting guildmates to hunt with me when I was paying 100cpu for their share of the harvest, now they think I will be able to get a group together to fish, harvest mollusk, even operate harvestors or factories.

If they would only give us boats to fish from.


The real problem is that not one Dev has been to our forum to comment on any of our concerns, look at the AS and Commando forums and see the Dev interaction, just the 2 I know of off hand.


We have valid concerns and I feel that we are not getting the attention that we deserve from the Dev's.


This is the Dev handleing our stuff.

I'm sure the devs don't want to test their flame suits. They would probably not be enough against the flagration that would surely errupt if a dev posted here, no matter what they said besides "Doc is going back the way it was," which obviously will never happen.

i think its a disgrace that we have not heard anything. silence of the lambs. only WE are the lambs. ok so that made no sence.


in any case, as we all know, we are goign through what is most probably THE most comprehensive change, we are screaming for answers and attention and all we get is jack schitt. (ii thinkhis sisters and parents are visiting us too....)

Would it have been nice if a Dev might have popped in on the forum and told us about these changes and maybe explained them a bit more.

Can anyone tell me, in plain simple English a 4-year old would understand, what exactly does "Healing actions will now garner hate towards your target's enemies" mean? We heal someone and whoever is attacking them now hates us? Docs have little combat abilities and yet we're going to be racking up all these "hate points" for helping people?

It probably means that healing will now cause creatures to argo on you even if you are not attacking them by healing someone that is.

That is confirmed. I was on TC for a few minutes prior to going to work this morning. I was patiently killing newb critters outside Eisley and harvesting them for the scout xp when all of a sudden all of the critters stampeded away. It turns out that a novice CM had apparently tossed some sort of area attack (poison or something) and managed to aggro about 15 of these lvl 1-5 mobs. They quickly incapped him. Being a doctor on live, I quickly came to his aid and laid a bactashot on him to help him back up. I wasn't really watching what was going on as I was healing my patient (was going to require a few shots). All of the mobs that were attacking him came to attack me and I was incapped rather quickly. I was able to run away from them easily enough while healing myself, but the lesson learned is do NOT heal anyone if you don't want their mobs to come after you...


The new first rule of Doctor is 'Do no harm... to yourself'
