Well here it goes.....

The skills are very confusing. Mind is a HUGE thing for Doctors and the foods like brandy do not work as mind enhancers I am not sure what foods will and it is needed greatly by us. I can not see a way to charge for these buffs. With what I had the natural abilities you get a 10% modifier and the Bio clothing doesnt seem to work-or maybe its just not working right now. Bivoli is still an enhancer for medical but i didnt see a difference but not sure WHAT difference it was supposed to make...Havla is now something to do with health regenerationnot a doctor thing at all.

As for the buffs themself....lol well yeah ok.... not very useful at all. Rez takes time to do....there is a charge up bar that has to fill up before you can preform a reserection.

Now on to changing of meds....everything is a stim pack---my med stim Es for healing are still heal packs with 600 power to heal. The enhancers I didnt see what or how they worked but it looks like they just heal as well. I couldnt make much out of what i was supposed to do with them and when i tried the Use command nothing happened. I tried with my droid Which btw doesnt do anything anymore either.... Sorry droid engineers....and obvioulsy nothing happened there.

Most useful skill I found in PvPing was my ability to heal my bleeding....because when ya bleed it GUSSHES out of ya.... and the generic Bacta Inhanced or whatever heals the best....the other things heal but seem to do it very slowly and maybe make your ability to heal the person faster? Its weird but I will report more once I know and understand more.

PvP is fast to incap and fast to death....not much chance to put enhancers on yourself or others.

I know as the state of things go I am not happy with Doctor...I want to try Doctor with NPCs and a group....then I will be trying combat medic to see how that works.

There is a HUGE learning curve here.

What got under my skin is my wound pack E's are a more powerful "stim" now then my 932 power buff packs which are now 400ish power stims at the same power level as old 700ish ones i had.

Yes they are. I noticed that as well. I think they just want everyone on the server to become super poor because they spent all their money on resources and now the stuff that once sold for 1 million dollars or even 200k or whatever now willsellfor 2 credits.

So I went back on TC and here is test two. Buffs do infact have an impact on regeneration of health and action and mind....it is useful and with enhancements i feel it will be very nice...nut Uber 3hrs but nice-way better then nothing.

I did drop doctor and took combat medic....talk about someone who got a nerf Eeek No thank you....got back my doc.

Something I did do was keep the Combat medic tree in medic though...the bacta toss and spray is nice to have for emergancies.

I enjoy the combat but it did take some time to get used to....

The old enhancement packs are useful to hand out to friends to help them along to healing themself....but sadly disapointing to me as a whole that they converted these to a crap stim.

We need MIND FOOD!!!! Someone Help with this.

Revive player isnt working 100% at all. its like an 80% chance it isnt going to work right.

Also the revitilize that we have is cool...it adds o a good 600 health to our pools but it doesnt buff anyone else? and sometimes ya cant use it....and its fluky when you can I am not sure quite what they are getting at with this...and it seems not to work when ya need it to but when it does work its real nice.

Bleed is a lovely thing in PVP----and even better that WE can heal it and only Us....very nice.

When I was going through my stuff on TCBria, I found this on my Dancer...

accarragm
filling 50
duration 9:00
health regen +49
action regen +200
MIND regen +200

The Vasarian Brandy I had was only +49 mind regen and the health regen was 196, while action was 200.

I've just spent the better part of 4 hours on TC-EP3 and there is a bigger than HUGE learning curve. We will have to relearn everything, and quickly, if we want to keep our friends/guildmates/fellow players alive.

The "influx of new players" that will appear after EP3 hits the theaters will have the advantage of coming from WoW and EQ2 and will not be confused by the new graphics. They will also have the extreme advantage of learning everything from the ground up (assuming they don't AFK macro it) instead of having to relearn everything they already knew.

This will be a huge PITA for those of us who can do the /commands in our sleep. It will take me quite a while to remember that /curedisease is something else now, and that /healdamage doesn't even exist.

After reviewing all the new “innate” abilities that I gained when the Magic Frog licked me and made me a M. Doc and trying to figure out what the new meds are for, and what the /commands and icons are for my new magic abilities all I know is I have a huge headache. /healdamage self

Maybe I'm too old and set in my ways to learn new things. Maybe my mind is too full of useless clutter (like the poem I wrote when I was 10 or the name of my ex-husband) to remember new stuff. Maybe I'm a lesser player because I can't comprehend the graphics overload at the top of my screen. Whatever the reason, I am having a really hard time remembering the new /commands and the new icons don't help at all to jog a memory.

I would really appreciate any tips anyone has for remembering all this new stuff, because for the love of the Force I don’t seem to be able to.

We can’t make the Devs change anything. We can’t even make them listen to what we want. All we can do is accept that our profession as we know it is changing, and we have to either muddle through, pick a new profession, or find a new game.

What I would love to see is a bunch of us Docs meet in TC-EP3 and try to figure this all out together. There is strength in numbers, and we are quickly loosing valuable Docs. Believe me, I hate this CU just as much as the next person, for MANY reasons. But I’ve reached the point that I have to either accept Doc for what it’s about to become and see if I can stomach it, or find something else to do. That said, I did create another character on TC-EP3 and pick a few new professions. There are certainly alternatives still.

If anyone wants to organize a “Docs Invade TC-EP3” event, I am SO there. My name is Es’rina there if anyone wants to give me a holler.

Ok Day 2....

It gets easier as we go along and we are learning new things....It will surely be different in live as it seems to be unbalanced still.

So I got on my BIO-ENGINEER today on test and made the enhancements.....The CM stuff seems to work well lovely in fact made CM viable to me again...

Doc on the other hand....there MUST be a bug....I made Nutrient Enhancer with 798 Effectiveness (not sure what this means) and I still only gave a 10% buff.

Endorphine Enhancer 796 ...also only a 10% buff....

Considering our auto skills for buffing is 10% this is HIGHLY agitating and I repeat to myself...>This is just a test...it is only a test...remember its a test...and it will surely be fixed.

As for the CM I must say the Amount of charges is Awesome....nearly 200 and at times 200. The Doc enhancements--which mind you i didnt have the best stuff to make them...and in fact i used some old doc supplies that converted only made about 80 per serving if you will...but I think that can improve based on experimentation differences. The Cm stuff seemed to improve the poison and thyroid (the stuff I had to make at the time) and the bacta toss...much improved.

So I dont know what is up with the enhancers......i think Bio stuff is just not finished yet or something.

I could be totally wrong here, but isn't the level of your buff influenced by your skill level?

i checked my smuggler drugs after the conversion:

muon gold - duration 15 mins
health: +20%
health regen: +20%
action regen: -20%
mind regen: +20%

neutron pixie - duration 15 mins
health: +20%
health regen: +20%
action regen: +20%
mind regen: -20%

there was no downer stated - so i guess the disadvantage will be only the regen reduction (no more puking players it seems )

Any comments on how the Advanced Med Components converted?

Or do they?

Are they usable?

The new ones have much different ranges and stats, so I'm curious is it better to use up what I have now ro wait and save them for after the CU so I don't end up with a zillion stimpacks.

I'm fully agree.
I've got a MD/Swordwoman in Flurry and I'm afraid the CU has killed my beloved Doc.
/cry

Anyway... count on me for your TC-EP3 Docs Invasion. I'm as confused with Doc skills as you.
