Thread: Question on Buffing Efficiency
Here's my question about my Master Doc. I've got a few people that I consistently go hunting with. A wookie ranger, a zabrak commando/artisian, and a human commando.
When I apply buffs to them, I get the standard deviations of randomness...anywhere from 1000-3000. However, my normal average is around 2100-2800. I can buff the wookie and the zabrak just fine and usually hit within that range. However, whenever I buff the human, my average drops to anywhere from 1000-2000. I have only twice gotten a buff on him higher than 2000. Same packs, same droid, and I recharge before each individual person.
I've triple-checked things like battle fatigue, stat wounds, etc. but I really cannot find any reason for this. Also, this is not an isolated incident, or a "couple of times". I'm talking that we go out hunting almost everynight, and this is ALWAYS the case. The first 2 go fine, and the human gets screwed. I even thought that maybe my poor little calamari was getting too tuckered out by the time he got to the human, so I started with him sometimes. Doesn't matter...it'll get the 1500's out of the way on him, then buff the other 2 for the usual 2200-2900.
I'm confused as all hell on this. Anyone have any thoughts or anything?
This is a fairly Frustrating *bug* among Docs. Perhaps there is a Stat Cap or maybe it just depends on how the player is using there stats. Something to think about.....something that would be very hard to actually test. I'm not sure though, I have the same problem as you though, and I know we aren't the only ones. I just blame it on my Droid and punch him.
Dunno though....wish you luck at figuring it out, I'm just gonna except it.
Cheers,
Egri
