Well I hate to bring a nerf upon my own profession. However to give master doctor or near master doc more meaning i feel we need to break up the "Dabbler line." The healing effeciency needs to be spread thru all the skill boxes. As it stands now having master doctor only narrowly makes us better at healing. This is not acceptable. Forget about cures and buffs for minute.

The power of doctor lies in the heals and I don't want every Tom, Dicck, and Harrey grabbing the most viable line of Doc just to supplements their template.

Those that choose to master the profession should be supreme healers when it comes to normal profession, and not someone that maybe heals 10% more on average than a dabbler.

We had the same issue with Creature Handler where people took a certain line of skills to dabble for power. The devs noticed this and saw the imbalances and rearranged the skills to make mastering profession more meaninful.

I agree with the intention but not the method. There are many ways to achieve the same goal of making a M. Doc a noticably better healer than suggestion that we break up the healing line.

1. Place the largest heal skill in the master box

2. place more of the healing eff in the master box.

I would prefer these options. My reasoning being that I like the general idea of there being a healing line, cure line, buff line, etc. The issue is the our healing line provides to much of the bang for the buck. I also do not want to see someone grabbing a bunch of healing eff by going up the buff line, that would be a bit of double dipping, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, i agree breaking up the line might be an extreme solution, on second thought. Improving the master box would be the ideal solution, but just not sure how without causing imbalance.

Possible skill improvements I think would be viable for Master Doc.

1. More healing effeciency added to master doc.

2. An advanced version of Infusion that is about 20% more powerful than previous

3. A Buff-All type skill that improves our buffs by 15%. This mainly would be used by the user on himself. Would require substantial mind drain, but gives us the unique ability to reapply all buffs mid battle with one shot. Additionally this would give us another 5% power on the buff.

professions were ment to be dabbled in, im really tired of people complaining about dabbling, with the doc4000 line i can heal at healing efficency 105 with be clothes...BUT i cant buff speed, pools, cure poisons, cure fire etc etc etc, there is alot in the doc profession i would love to have and sense i cant afford it skillpoint wise, i am sometimes envious of that doc with all that power.
