Thread: Question about Med Exp CA

I have a crafters apron with +5 Med Exp and +5 med Assembly. It has two spare sockets.
Can I just add my +5 med Exp CA to the apron or do i have to add it to clothing with no previous mods?
Please help

Once a mod is placed on clothing, it must be canceled with a CA of negative amount equal to the exiting mod.


IE, you cannot put another med exp tape on the apron of any power unelss the existing +5 is canceled with a -5 and this uses a socket.


You need to get another article of clothing from a Tailer that can make clothes with sockets. I think the max is four depending upon other BE mods added. IE, BE modding to clothes limits the scoket max. (Confirmaiton from any tailors in the exact know would be needed to confirm this.)


Mods of the same type never stack on the same article of clothing.

i thought if you placed a CA/AA with a higher modon an article with the same mod, the higher one replaced theoriginal mod?

Exactly why you wouldnt place another Med Experimentation tape in hte Med Apron- if it's a higher than +5 tape you lose the +5 the apron gives. If it's lower than the Apron's +5, you'll never see it and blew the tape.


Get a shirt, pants, hat, gloves, shoes, whatever and add your Exp and Assembly tapes to those as needed and create your crafting outfit. Putting anything in Apron that gives a free +5/+5 Exp/Assembly would be... silly.
