Thread: making stims, which component to experiment on to increase uses per?
i've not made stims with the advanced comps yet but i have gathered them all up and am now rdy to start production. up to now i've been ignoring experimenting on the "uses" line and have been exerimenting all components in the effectiveness line. while i get a nice base heal my uses per stim are still crap. i've heard that you only need to experiment on one of the pre-fab comps in uses to bring up the stim but i'm not sure which one.
liquid, bio or chem?
Charges = BEC (use materials with high OQ and Toughness)
Effectiveness = LS & CRDM (use materials with high OQ and PE)

Well, considering each component has a power and charges attribute and only one component you can experiment on the charges which is *drumroll*... the Bio Effect Controller....
The BEC charge number affects what your "base" number of charges is on the stimpack. You can, of course, experiment it up when you're making the stimpack itself.
Advanced BECs generally have charges about 15 higher than a basic BEC. All other things being equal, this usually doubles the "base" charges in the stimpack when it's crafted.
