Thread: Is it possible to make stim b's in a factory?
I made up all my componets for the stem b's. I then inserted the the scamatic of the stim b then placed in all the crates for all the componets then I placed in the other two resources I used and I tell it to start. It runs for about 5 min then sends me a message saying it is out of resources. I look in there and it's used a few of the two resources but nothing else and I am now out because I have several k of each in there.
Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible.

Thank you, that explained it all for me. I will do just that and move on.

They used to pull from crates (sometimes) and you'd wrestle with it until it worked.
With the new (and improved) factory bug, don't even bother - faster whipping 'em up by hand and you'll waste less resources.
You have to be careful with re-starting factory runs. Several times, I encountered a bug where it wouldn't let me retrieve items from a crate at the point where I stopped the manufacturing process. So I recommend you either make that 32 stim / crate as already recommended. Alternatively, you can keep the input hopper open while you activate the station. Then you can keep feeding materials as they get used up in the run.

which means you can make a crate of 32 stimBs or Cs unless you want to keep stopping and restarting the factory while it's running.
Um, if I have to unpack the crates into my factory, I can get it to make more then 32. When the factory runs out of components, I unpack more components into the input hopper then turn it on again. It continues manufacturing where it left off, and brings the crate of 32 to 50.
I am always able to get the factory to create the first crate of 50, then I usually have to unpack for the second crate (just once I was able to get 2 crates done without unpacking). My secret is to have more than one crate of each component in the input hopper. If you have just one crate of a component it does not work.
There is also still the outstanding bug where the factory will not do more than 1 run of 100 per day (unless you redeed), and will start to eat your ingredients if you ask it to work overtime. I guess they're pissed about the hours and are getting violent.
