Thread: more wounds needed!
Actually it depends on what kind of weapons you're fighting with. I take quite a few wounds lately against certain weapons.
But if they are going to "up" wounds, they need to up Healing. Our Wound healing blows.
You have to have a happy medium I think. And currently with Wound healing lacking, that is it. I would expect that once some more bugs get worked out that thinks will get better. Currently I have yet to be hit with any type of Damage State (Bleed, Pois, Dis). Which is something I always hated about Mobs, but now really miss it.
My major issue with the CU right now is the fact that nothing has changed for me. Sure I can't spam Spin Attack on the lairs anymore, but the simple fact is, unless I'm stupid and screw up, I still have the "I Win" button turned on. I've died twice since the CU was released, I've been incapped pleanty, but the difficulty seems about the same for me.
Only now I don't get XP for 85% of the game, but I still have to pay for armor and stuff that stupid grey cons destroy. But I fixed that problem by taking off my armor.
Long and the short of it is that it still needs a lot of work. But in my opinion they Devs are doing a great job, and ROTW freakin OWNS if anyways is curious. ![]()

Well thats beside the point, but it just goes to show you how many people played Doc for the money and not the profession.
The major reason we don't need more wounds right now is because we only heal for about 80ish every time we do heal wounds. That for me is the major reason I don't want to see more wounds.
I am in the boat clearly labeled "We need more Wounds" on the "allow quicker wound healing" deck. Once there go to the"And make them have a more adverse effect on players abilities" lounge and you will find me sitting at the bar.
If players got wounded more AND those wounds had a more adverse effect on game play, then the docs ability to heal would be in higher demand. This would bring back more players to the doc profession therefore allowing players to find a doc when they need those big wounds healed. A rise in the effectiveness of our heals would then allow the players to get back into the action and allow doc to help more people.

It is good to hear that player get their wounds on space "properly". If this would work on the planets too then would this a big step to the new doctors destination. Also I agree that wound healing is still to weak, I prefer to meditate wounds, because this is much more faster then healing. But I hope that the devs will fix this too when they fix this pre-CURB-wound-getting
