Thread: Bacta Jab...What's the deal with it?

What's the deal with Bacta Jab? Bacta shot heals 3x as much. But Advanced Bacta Jab is a Doctor Only skill. Is there something i'm missing?

Barely shorter cooldown. What's the Enhancer do on it? I tried a few enhancers on the buffs...didn't like the result.

Yeah I'm confused too, I use an 800 Effectiveness Enhanced Nutrient Injector at Novice Doctor (Medic 4040) and I still get the same +300 buff that I get when I use the default icon/skill at Medic 4000. To top it off, I can't even tell if we should have the default icons on our hotbars and the actual medicines in our main inventory or, when we want Enhanced versions to be used, if we just put those medicines on our hotkeys instead (like the old days). Help? Basically, I just added Medic 4040 (Novice Doctor) to my M.Smuggler and M.Pistoleer and I need to get the scoop since the Upgrade on how to best use Bacta Jab, Bacta Shot & Nutrient Injection (including Enhanced meds).

Bacta Jab and Bacta Shot are meant to be alternated, so by having both you can heal better than somebody just using Bacta Shot, although since Bacta Jab isnt as powerful you dont heal twice as good.

Enhancers right now just increase the duration of buffs.

yeah but like kat said, using a nutrient injection enhancer with 800.0 effectiveness still only gives a +300 health buff for about 33mins (the same exact default health buffyou get when you just hit the sony default icon for nutrient injection at medic 4xxx, this is even prior tobuying the buff enhancement pack in the first place)! any thoughts??

Bacta jab enhancers do up the heal power but its not that noticeable bacta jab is a wasted move in pvp if you are stuck on cooldown for bacta shot and infusion your not doing enough offense heh

I dunno... it's not much, but sometimes it's what you need... it's still a heal between a heal... and if you need to get your Health up real quick, every bit helps.
It's saved my ass a couple times. I fought a guy with a PoisonsPike (that is such a bullsh-t weapon... 
) today and he was hitting me repeatedly for 600pts so I had to keep running out of range, but while I'm trying to get out of that Gawd damn 60m radius I'm tossing heals like crazy. After I beat him he was like "How the hell did you heal so fast?!"
