I love playing a BH - mainly for NPC missions and a bit of RP.

I was buffed by a doc last night for the first time since returning to SWG and the buffs worked quite well. The 40 minute duration is prablematic unless you keep the doc on hand for a rebuff after 2 or 3 missions, but I was able to solo +2 levels just on his buffs. Normally I use food and spice, but didn't take them to test the buff effectiveness.

Does anyone have a good Master Doc combat template now that can group and solo?

I wouldn't touch doc with a barge pole under the old system, but this 'new' doc looks like it's worth trying to understand...

I'm been soloing upto CL72 missions with my CL68 MD\pistoleer.I would have trained pistoleer higher but I haven't seen a pistol higher than CL54 so I rather not get stuck with missions being harder than they are now.

I just respec'd today to Master Doc/Pistols 4243 to try this out and it rocks. I can finish missions faster than with my Master BH/Pistols template.

I'm L71, with a 54 pistol (because they don't go higher than that) and I can solo L73 missions.

The buffs really help - I wasn't even using food or spice (even though they're in my backpack). That weapon speed buff really makes a difference and I had almost zero downtime between kills owing to the two heals doing around +1000 health when added together.

I successfully took on two L70s at once and finished on about 30% health after healing twice during the fight.

I'm keeping this template and mastering Pistoleer to go with the Doctor. I still have a BH on Eclipse for when I got the urge to stalk someone

The 'method' I used for soloing is very basic:

Stopping shot (root)

Shoot at it like crazy with alternating damaging attacks until it dies.

Occasionallystuck an intimidate on, but it didn't seem to make a lot of difference to the mobs.

Blues tended to die 10m away, whites hit me maybe 3 or 4 times, Yellows got to me an about half health or less and went toe to toe with me until they died. Only time I got incapped (avoidable - had my bike out, but was testing) was when 2 yellows jumped me at once.

Pistoleer / Doc here. I can solo an elite CL 82 enraged Kimogila, but it takes a while.

I also can handle multiple 80+'s with well-timed roots and disarming shots to hold them off while I heal.

I'm a lower level doc/pistoleer (2-2-2-2 and 1-1-1-1, respectively), and I've been saying for awhile now that doc (and this combo) makes soloing easier. I've found solo easier than with a group, actually.

Dispite what all these doc's are useless post say, I love my master doc. He is a great auto buff bot and with master swordsman too he is a nasty force in pvp.
