yup he's dead right Commando sucks ni PvP and almost sucks in PvE really low to mid lvl content is good but any higher lvl stuff like rancors etc have huge or a invunerable to heat dmg

and the acid rifle is still rather poor

another down side to commando is the low XP you get. My buddy and I were grinding and I would get 4500 XP using swordsand he would get 2300 XP for killing the same mob with a flame thrower. I take it the initial damage of the weapon is taken into account for XP determination. The worst part was that he would take more damage then me because of his low defences and couldn't kill anything any faster because of the slow fire rate on the flammer. He has since picked up TKM and is loving it.
