I, like many, was whining like a punk about the 80k med xp cap and the pain of going to village for converting.

Someone told me if I dropped Master Doc.... went to say 3-4-4-4 my med xp cap would INCREASE.

Is this true? And if so, what would be the new cap? What would be the optimal template?

I didn't want to drop master cuz I wouldn't be able to buff as well..... but I'm just buffing for free over and over in the village.... even competing with other docs to see who can give away the better free buffs..... (since no one wants to wait around to get buffed once, then wait around for a higher re-buff so we both can get xp.... they want to go grind too)

Since I'm having to give my master doc buffs away free anyway, I could at least sell my non-master doc buffs for 6k+ make "some" money and hold more med xp.

I'm not about the "money".... I just need enough to break even.... I need to buff like a million people and all those buff packs add up.... it's going to get expensive.

Thoughts?

While I can see the logic in it, I am not sure it will work.

when you are working towards filling one box in the Dr. Tree it will let you gain all the xp needed to complete that box and I believe it lets you go as far as 2X the exp needed for that box. So if that is always true, even for the 4th and final box of that tree, then the last box you dropped requires 60k xp and double that is 120k.

Not so sure if it will work or not and I dont want to be the one to test it

Just finished getting master doctor again last week, and pretty sure that while working up the trees the cap was 80K med XP when you had one tier 4 box.

Don't think you will find the cap does increase if you drop master doctor.

The medical XP cap only changes if the next box above has a higher medical XP requirement than the one below.

Master Doctor and 4.0.0.0 Doctor both have the same capped medical XP -80k.

As a previous poster already stated, the XP cap will not increase, it will still be 80k. Med XP does not follow the general rule that many others do of capping at 2x the next box.

As an aside, earning and converting XP is supposed to be a pain.

Sure, but it should be an equal pain for all professions. This is not so currently.
