Gentlemen, Myself and other Rangers in our forum are trying to make an organic creature harvesting list with regards to all professions. In doing so we hope that we can create a post/sticky that will help us to harvest better to help you. I have already spoken with the Armorsmiths and they provided a great list of items they use creature resources for and what ideal stats we should look for when harvesting. Here is what they wrote:
DR= Not important
MA= Semi - Important (Controls the HAM, note this could increase in importance)
OQ= Important as SR (Both for Resistance)
SR= Important as OQ (Both for Resistance)
UT= Semi - Important (I'd rate this under MA's importance, it controls condition)

Only creature resources we need are Avian Meat (doesn't matter which planet) and Herbivore Meat (again, doesn't matter which planet).
The main stats on bothare 66% OQ and 33% PE for power (both of buffs and Advanced Chemical Release Duration Mechanisms in the case of Herbivore Meat), with DR being the other important stat on the Avian Meatas it determines a buff duration.

Lokian Animal Bones - OQ + UT
Tatooine Herbivore Meat - OQ + PE
Domesticated Meat - OQ + PE
Cant remember what goes in what...
If someone could check the schematics and compile a list it would be great.

Ok, I suck, I forgot they put in the new disease/poison area cures and immunity boosters a while back

Though the schematics for buff packs list 66% OQ and 33% PE for the avian meat, it actually comes out to 50:50 because reactive gas has no PE. I already posted a breakdown of the algebra a while back, so I won't do it again. I'll just say that this is the case becausethe avian meat's PE is the average PE that goes into the calculation, whereas the avian's OQ is only 1 number out of the 2 that get averaged.

Wrong forums, I know.....
But CMs like insect meat. OQ and PE. DR is also important in disease duration....but I got 99 problems and disease duration ain't one.

Actually no, I do appreciate the CM imput. I was curious if their crafting needs would need to be included in what I was doing with this. Thanks.

Heh, so, I have done a bit of research using the neat feature of character builders on TC-Ahazi and had some questions. I went thru the schmatic list and created the list below. Let me know if I missed anything. Also, arent the poison and disease buffs included in Master Doc? I didnt seem to have the schematic for those. Are they quest based?
Now, I know that any high level crafting doctor is using all Advanced items in creating crates of items. So, I only ask that do you use creature resources when making regular BEC's, Chemical Release Duration Mechancisms, Liquid suspension, and Solid Delivery Shells(not the advanced ones)? Or do you find that best suited for flora type organics? I would assume anyone building their own stims and such would want the highest quality anything be it meat or oats when it comes to regular organics. Hmm.. I guess this is just too broad an area where a Ranger would know he could see an item being DEFINATELY being bought so I guess we should stick with items used in making high level packs and stims.

DR on Avian is fairly important since the experimentation lines for duration and effectivness are tied together.
Duration DR60% OQ40%
Effectivness OQ66% PE33%

ideallywe like to have an avian that is over triple 900 in oq/pe/drbut we will settle for 750 plus in these areas, the DR can drop as low as 500 but it wouldnt be our best packs ofc so hopefully the cpu will reflect the stats when that happens.
oq/pe is what we need on the other organics for the most part. DR plays a part on the enhance poisons/diseases as well.
your final model looks pretty good and i agree.
