I have been trying to find a medical supplier that could supply me with regular shipments of advanced components. So far I've been totally unsuccessful, so I thought I'd ask in here. Sorry if this isn't the proper venue. If you can make good quality advanced med components please give me a /tell or email in game. I'm looking to buy between 300-600 advanced components (Liquid Suspension, Chem Release Duration, Bio Effect) in factory crates each week. Thks.

You probably won't find too many at that volume because everyone that can do that would also combine them into stim b's and sell them. Just my guess.

if one person can't sell that volume then multiple vendors would be fine.. but I can't fine ONE, let alone several.

i wouldnt sell components. that just creates competition for my stims.

I might make an exception for schematics for BEs and CMs though. and have done so in the past.

My point exactly. You'll have a hard time finding component suppliers for this reason. If you ask for completed med items, that should be much easier.

Man the economy and supply/demand models in this game are screwed up. Sheesh. I need components for an entirely different market. But looks like if I want these things I have to make em myself. Which is possible, but not my prefered method. One would think that if there were demand (me) that a suppler (you) would sell them at market rates. If someone is willing (now me I guess) to take the time to get the resources himself (guess I am now) your market doesn't expand a whit. Say 3-4 doctors were willing to sell 100-200 of each component per week, what does that hurt, except to earn you a little extra cash? Silly me I guess.

Depends on what market rates are. If I'm losing 50% markup by selling components, when I could just sell stims, that wouldn't make economic sense, now would it? What kind of prices are you looking to buy ALS's, ABEC's, and ASDS's at?

Everyone seems so concerned about competition but you need to realize that this you're on one BIG galaxy. On Flurry, there is a ton of market to go around. There is a large group of us doctors that regularly share information about resource shifts, etc. in order to give each other a hand.

Also, for anyone considering the venture, I had started a medical supply shop on Flurry and it has been quite successful. I sell mostly advanced medical resources (such as Lokian Wild Wheat, etc.) as well as crates of subcomponents. I do make a handful of stims, but not nearly as many as I used to. It's a lot easier to run a large batch of subcomponents and simply be done with it.

Just like some many other things, it's a niche market that really needs to be filled on most servers. Right now, there's virtually no competition for the medical supply shop I'm working on. Every time I find a doctor and mention the place to them, I get responses like, "Wow! I wish I had known that was there!"

Stims, packs, components, all the same to me. If you find yourself on Lowca i'll help you out.
