Thread: Use med pack with the lower number of charges first

Dear all,

I am using a macro for my healing that use the standard /healwound order.

Is there a way to request the system to use first the available med packs with the smallest number of charges ? I am a fit upset of having 5 identical medpacks with only one charge left. It is just increasing my backpack size without any advantage.

Only way I've found to do it is use the /ui action toolbarSlotXX way and have your meds in the toolbar, that way it will absolutly use whatever one you want. I keep two up there, and have two /ui action lines in the macro, to use two stim slots back to back in case one runs out unexpected have an emergency backup.

Used to put a pet stim in one, so can do a mega heal on a pet with a stim and a petstim back to back, but kinda stopped doing that. Worked good when one is tanking a atst or something, kinda got out of habit now.

The other advantage of having them in the toolbar is the stims don't have to be in your main inventory, they can be in a backpack or other bag. Trade off I guess, cluttered toolbar or cluttered inventory

I havn't seen much of a pattern with /healwound, maybe it goes top down, but everytime you relog your backpack is rearranged. I feel your pain.

I dont use /healwound. I have a separate tool bar for healing wounds where I drag one of each of the woundpacks into a slot. I also put diagnose and enhance packs on it. This way I can be selective about what I want to heal and not wast 200 heals on 2 wounds.

You may also want to put a few combat keys in the toolbar so that if you get attacked while TEFed your reflex action works to fire back, quickheal yourself, or burst run. If you feel you need more than one woundpack open, you can put a second pack in the the second row. The only problem I have is sometimes forgetting to switch back to my combat toolbar after leaving the med center, and I end up trying to /healthshot 2 with a Action C pack.
