I pull out my surgical droid and try to heal some wounds on a friend and I get the message, "You have to be in a campsite or near a surgical droid to perform that action."

Anyone help me out with this? My surgical droid was built with 2 Medical Modules in it. I've used it before to heal wounds when outside or in a city but now I'm getting this message.

it does it even if its charged?

try to group with it, if get message *Low Power* then you need some droid batteries. otherwise, if it will group with you it should work as a surgical droid.

Yup even fully charged still having the problem. Only logging seems to work.

Yup. Just about gave up on my surgical droid for the same reason.

never had that issue with my R2. He's 110 mod, Item and Data Storage, Droid repair and Crafting Station. And better HAM than a Surgical Droid, for those times when you get spawned on while healing in the wild.

what I meant to ask was if declaring a residence helped the droid heal anywhere, or just in the residence...Od
