I don't know that I've ever been as mad in this game as I was yesterday.

Ijust came back from a failed attempt at part 3 of the new storyline badge, so all those credits lost shuttling back and forth already had me in a bad mood, and the thought that I'm going to have to pay more when I got back with help. But enough of that.

I walk into the Bestine Med Center and some novice medic is there and I sit down next to him and patiently wait my turn as he's healing someone. I had a lot of secondary wounds due to me getting bled some many times on that god forsaken storyline missions that I figured I'd be there for a while, so I do a bit of crafting while I wait. Keep in mind that I ALWAYS tip my entertainers and medical personel, usually the same amount as I get for one mission, because each patient that they treat should be like a "mission" to them. In my opinion.

This novice Doctor comes in and asks if anyone could tumble for him. Some joker says he will after he finishes getting his wounds healed by his friend, the Novice Medic. The doctor says "cool."

I then say that he could get a lot of xp healing me and I almost lost all of my stamina and constituion while he waits for him to finished getting healed.

So the guy calls out again and offers to pay someone to tumble, bringing "random dumb guy" in from the street to come in and enjoy his 15 dollars a month flipping like a monkey for a holo grinder or power gamer.

So he starts tumbling, novice medic leaves, and the Doctor heals the flipping monkey while leaving a serverly injured person just sitting in the medical center. I asked again about healing and was ignored completly, he had a new pet monkey to take care of. Now that's the realism that I love about this game.

/cheers the developers and the idiotic "holo grinder/monkey" concept

/cheers idiots that play classes that they don't care about, ruining everyone elses fun

But the point of this post is mainly to say that I appreciate all of you Doctors that actually are interested in doing your job in the Universe. Not slinking off to some corner of the med center to heal your new pet monky so that you can grind up fast to master doctor and then buff your second character on the server for free allowing you to go camp for holocrons. This game is irritating.

Thanks developers for this awesome system you've come up with. It's really done wonders for the Star Wars Universe that some of us are still holding out hope might come to exsist.

/rant off

Good job everyone who is serious about your profession.

I'm sorry about the trouble you had with getting healed. I have also experienced the tumble monkeys. One came into the Med Center, while I was there healing actual players and said that he would tumble for me for 10K. I hit CTRL-1 to check which title I had up, and it was Master Doctor. So I explained to him that I'm a Master Doctor and I maxed my medical xps months ago. He got mad and left.

LOL Tumble monkeys. Jeesh I got my doctor title the good old fashion way I healed wounds. Took me 2 months to get doctor back then. It sucks to see doctors done in a day now.

I filled all my boxes in medic yesterday chilling out in the cantina and crafting in between heals. I'm probably going to do the same thing once I finish my ap points

why not, I'm at work and bored......

Tumble/Monkey.... I really like that word. I've been a master doctor for probably close to 4 months now and I got me free holocron. It told me to do Master Image Designer. Trouble is, I'm also the mayor of our city. I considered dropping the tag and dropping all but the crafting as that is the most difficult to get and then decided to sell the holocron. 325k. The point is, I truly enjoy playing the docotor in the game. I've revived so many of my pa m8s in raids I can't even count. They appreciate having me. They would be hard set to even do raids without a doc. We've had probably 5 members make master doc and drop it just as fast. I'm here to stay.

If you really want to find a doc to heal your wounds, find someone buffing with their droid out. Its the same as a hospital and if I were buffing and you wanted to tip me 3k to heal your wounds, I wouldnt' even hesitate. Not that I buff that often anyway, but you getthe idea.

I must say also, I cant stand the negative impact the hologrind has had on everything they spent 3 years building. Good god, just open the dam slot to everyone and let the Bounty Hunters play crowd control.......

keep in mind healing wounds require wound packs , and not all that many "up and comming docs" have the packs , or the ability to make such packs yet.

And docs are supposed to know you're the one of the few that tip how? I didn't see anywhere in your post where you offered any money for your healing. Want service, offer to pay for it.

Although any medic that ccouldnt because of no packs would day so.

I xp'd the old fashion way also. And I have been a master doc for months. No holo grinder here

Thanks for the appreciative thought

I wish all medical centers had two levels, like the one in Theed. Then we could get the devs to make /tumbletostanding on the main floor cause a TEF. We would take care of the rest.

I've run out of wound packs plenty of times...what I think is hilarious is when people get pissed at me cuz I'm taking to long. Then once I get them made and heal them...no thank you, no tip, they are out the door and back in an hour.

Ya had this happen way to many times. I'm the only one in the Med Center Healing, and all I here is HEAL ME! I reply back, One Sec. Plz There Is A Line. 1 min later HEAL ME ALREADY. I reply, Ok Your Next. Heal the guy and he kites like that. No thanx or tip. Sickins me when ppl treat me like I owe them because of my tag. Be curtious and we will heal you in a timely manner.

I don't care aboutbeing tipped, just treat me like a decent cartoon

As for the touble monkeys. Thats funny, this happened two days ago. One touble monkey and three docs/medics healing him. There I am, healing everyone else that walks in. I think a got more xp from real clients than they did from sharing their monkey.

That is plain stupid (sorry to the doctor. well. not really). You get like 2.5 xp per wound healed and less than one xp per damage healed (I believe that is about right). Nowadays higher level mobs (npc's especially) seem to generate a lot of wounds, especially to secondary stats. Heal 450 wounds and you get over 1k xp.

Ah well, these grinders obviously don't know the profession but just read some "tumble to standing is the way to go" post.

I can't imagine how slowly I would have advanced had I only done damage healing...

Also, a trip with a decent sized group to an adventure planet can yield a lot of xp. Of course, that would require actually PLAYING the game (can't have that now, can we?)
