Thread: Doctors will have mind buffs?

Professions: Doctor
Fixed some problems with Doctor enhancements being found even though they had expired.
Added visual buff icons to Doctor enhancements and performance mind buffs.
This is taken from the test center updates page. Is this at all true? Will doctors be the substitute for chefs when theylosing Fishak and Paste?

Agen'ts highlighting there is the key word. "Performance" buffs are the buffs given by performers, in other words Dancers and Musicians.

from what I understand and have heard from a friend on the TC...is the Docs will get a small icon of some sort on people that are buffed.....apparently you can examine people to see how long the buffs last and such....not sure how it really works, but I heard its a great feature.

Does it resolve the rez and cant re-buff issue though?
Im happy they have put something in to do with buffs, its really not cool when you jump into battle with muon gold, only for it to run out and get dead

Unfortunately I no longer have any Doc skills on TC, so I just can't test any of that. Maybe I will try to find the Correspondent terminal and find out if they actually revoked my ability to just take up Doc or not. If not I might take it back up temporarily to try to find out some more of that stuff if I get a chance (I expect to be pretty busy this weekend.)

I finally got TC acess to Doc last weekend.
I'm hurting for equipment though. I haven't had a chance to shake down TH for stuff, because this is my 2nd week of classes, and my 1st week is always murder levels of paperwork.
I'm going to try and check most of this stuff out this weekend, after I get a factory, and manage to get some Doctor packs of various kinds made.

(Doctors don't get mind buffs. Just bad writing on the patchnotes... Schools think Computer majors should get a pass on being able to write sentances or something.)

T: We've got a factory (I'm already running some components through on it) and resources for you, for the most part. We may still have one or two things we'll need to get for the Doc resources, but I think we're in pretty good shape to get started. I'll try toi get some more components done tonight. They won't be very good, mind you, but at least we'll have them.
