I haven’t really seen notes about Test Results on these issue, at least I failed to search on them. Anyway, I will post my findings.
“A new 'buff' system has been put in place to give players a powerful and flexible method for applying and 'debuffing' attribute and skill modifiers with an easy to use graphic interface.”
This seems a bit misleading, I see no possible way to debuff, even read the // list for hidden commands. This appears to only be a simple icon that only tells you which buffs you have and how long it will remain.
The logout when buffed, coming back to find out buff is gone but time remains… This still exists.

Perhaps the interface to de-buff is on your character window where you normally see your attributes?
So sad about timers still not being reset after loosing connection.

I think there are pro's and con's to a "debuffing" system.
1 - I think that variability when buffing, even at master, is ridiculous and this could relieve it some by allowing us more chances for better buffs.
2 - I can see how non-masters could use it to zoom through med xp.
3 - NOT having such a system saves us from even more /tells and rude people.
4 - Having such a system could bring in more money for the profession by charging extra per "debuff."
After thinking on the subject, I would be happy if such a system is not introduced. That's my personal opinion tho. And I agree with the original poster that the test center notes allude to such a system that has not been confirmed on TC.
